... have not seen it. DVD player comes with a small remote control and there are useful buttons on the faceplate, so its safe to say for free I got a good deal. Although im not entirely sure how much you can buy one these days but we have learnt to live with it dispite its small fault.

We had one of these come with my 42" for free and for something that was free we got some surprising results. Once we installed it into our cabinet alongside the HDTV we had to setup the channels and connections, it was easy to setup but there was one thing they didnt put into the instructions. When we switched to the DVD player it gave us one of those annoying no signal sounds, like when your aerial is not postioned properly. We managed to fix it weeks down the line by accidentally changing channel on the DVD remote, I cannot explain it but it stopped. I love this Samsung DVD recorder. It has a massive 160Gb hard drive so you can record alot on this product. Unfortunatley with the digital switchover in 2010 this product will be worthless because the reception is an Analogue tuner and will not receive digital channels. It has Progressive scan and DVD-RAM recording format. It also has 2 Scart sockets. The item is easy to use and isn't too big or bulky. It slips in nicly along with my other appliances by the tv.
