I use this DVD player in the bedroom, where it is perfect. I have a smaller LCD TV in there and this player provides an amazingly high quality viewing experience for all my DVDs.

My favourite thing about this product isn't actually one of it's most obvious abilities, it is the fact that you can use this as a freeview box. I love that as my TV only has one scart socket and therefore it is impossible for me to have the DVD player plugged in at the same time as a freeview box, this product fixes that and gives me both in one (although I don't actually use freeview, you can see why I would consider this to be useful for consumers)

Another great little feature is that you can rip your music CDs on this product and then put them straight onto MP3 players, that's quite nifty and I've never seen it before and although I never use it I would consider that a great little feature.

When it comes to the actual DVD playing feature this player does exactly what you would expect, and in great quality too! It is HD ready and when coupled with an HD tv works great and really makes the videos more crisp, even the ones that are old and not filmed in HD come across a little crisper.

Overall this is a DVD player offering extras to it's users that could come in really useful, and although it is expensive using it as a freeview box could save you a bob or two overall.
