... believe, although im less aware of it to be honest. From what I've read, some Sony Bravia's have this built in and it appears to be a similar concept, only that its transmitted through HD/HDMI instead of SCART, like SmartLink is (you have to have it connected by SCART to use SmartLink and it has to be connected by HDMI to use Bravia Theatre Sync I believe).
