I bought this DVD player with high expectations, and to an extent, some of them were met. You can record digital channels to the hard disk for alter playback, and the picture quality was high. But then I started to get some problems. For one, during the loading screen, it should be a blue picture. And it was, but now the picture flickers through all the colors of the rainbow, and that's not exactly normal.
Not only that, although the player can record digital TV (Due to the fact it has a built in digital tuner, you can watch freeview through it. ) actually getting that recording is sketchy at best. It often records an entirely different channel to what you want, or it records at a later time.
I would say that this player is only mediocre, and with a lot of faults and bugs.
I suggest you DON'T buy this, look into more reliable ones.
