... the mountain looked very realistic which suprised me abit, but when he climmed up all the stairs to get to the temple with his slinky meeting the tribe (Shackkaa, white bat) and driving the beast of a off roader was great. i think the best bit for me is when he gets pumber the elephant to sit on the car. If you missed the first film 'Ace Ventura - Pet Detective' then don't worry as it doesn't affect the viewing pleasure of this film We once again catch up with Ace (Jim Carrey) as he is this time employed on a much bigger adventure. He is hired to track down the sacred white bat for a desperate tribe. As he arrives in the jungle the mayhem begins to unfold and there are some seriously funny moments to be found. This is a brilliant follow up, to the genuine class of the first Ace Ventura movie. Jim Carrey again stars as the hilarious pet detective Ace Ventura. This one features him in search of a holy white bat in Africa. He has to overcome his fears when it comes to bats, and the outcome is hilarious. Courtney Cox Arquette does not star in this film, but it is just as good as the first film, if not better. definately one for people who love comedies, this film will have you laughing all of the movie. For comedy fans, this is a must see. ...

I saw Ace Ventura:When Nature Calls on video, and I have never seen the first film, Ace Ventura:Pet Detective. Well, this film is TERRIBLE. it has to be one of the worst films ever made, the acting is dire, the "script" could've been written by a 2-year old, and despite this film being billed as a "comedy" I did not laugh once throughout the entire duration. I really suffered by watching this film, and I would strongly advise you to never ever watch it. However, Jim Carrey has made some far better films since, such as the excellent "The Truman Show". ...
