Happy Gilmore is probably my joint favourite film of all time tied with weird science. The reason I love Happy Gilmore so much is the fact that it just never gets old every time I watch it I end up in stitches and I always hear something that I didn't catch last time. The film is all a bout young man, Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler), who fancies himself as a NHL pro and despite the major problem of him being rubbish at ice hockey he isn't deterred and turns up for the trials held at his local stadium every year. After his latest trial he returns home to discover that his kindergarten teaching girlfriend has had enough of him and his wild ambitions ...

Adam Sandler's film company, Happy Madison, has produced some brilliant comedies. This 1996 film is no exception, with a hilarious script and plot, and hilarious acting to boot. The Plot Happy Gilmore is obsessed with ice hockey. Each year, he goes to his local ice hockey team to try out for pre-season. Each year, he fails.
