My next review is on a film I actually enjoyed watching as a child back in the 90's. Jack was a film directed by the brilliant Francis Ford Coppola, and starred Robin Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Diane Lane, Bill Cosby and Brian Kerwin Now most people don't really have good things to say about this film, but I thought it was one of Robin Williams's best films. Having been a big fan of Williams, looking back on his films, Jack seems to be one of only a few films, other than good will hunting that allows me to see a more serious side of him. Jack is a really touching movie starring Robin Williams (possibly one of the best comedic actors of all time). Jack is a film about a 10 year old boy who has a rare disease. This disease makes him grow and age faster than other children, so at the age of 10 he looks like a 40 year old. The film shows how Jack's parents had tried to protect him from the outside world, and how Jack decided that he wanted to go to a private school. You see how, at first Jack is shunned by his peers. Then through a series of incidents and mishaps he gains favour with the other children and is eventually accepted. It is a great film for the whole family and is a real tear jerker ...

Francis Ford Coppola is renowned for great films, such as The Godfather, and until the 1996 release of Jack, it had been 4 years since his last film, Bram Stoker's Dracula, so the public and press waited with baited breath. The film begins with Karen and Brian Powell, (Diane Lane and Brian Kerwin), at a fancy dress party. Panic sets in as Karen realises she is going into labour, but how can she be when she is only 10 weeks pregnant?
