I think this was Arnie taking himself far too seriously, and thinking he could act just because he had had some successful films. The film Last Action Hero was supposed to play the image of real life and movie life, in which arnie was pulled into the real world from his movie world, it really did not make much sense, the whole part of the film was what? A young boy addicted to these action movies staring Arnie, is given a gold ticket, his ticket the movie world, it`s just all pointless, with arnie and the kid going from movie world to real world trying to catch the bad guy. Silly one liners spoil this and the acting just ...
