When I was a kid, every Sunday I watched reruns of the popular drama, 'Lost In Space', about a family who went up into space and got lost (funny that, the title kind of gives it away!). So, when they made the decision to remake the series into a film, giving it a futuristic overhaul, I was really excited. The film was released in 1998, and its running time is 130 minutes. Lost In Space falls into both camps and sadly it is one of the worst of its kind, but doubly so because of the level of expectancy raised by the hype. On the face of it it should be a wonderful experience - it's got all the camp humour of the 60's and the memory of those very weird jump suits and the original Dr Zachary Smith (who ...
