I bought this shaver after suffering from acne and breakouts on my face, i also had slight scarring from the acne, My breakouts were getting worse by having a wet shave and my skin was also easily irritabkle and becanme very red. I bought this shaver on a recommendation ftom the net, that it was the best shaver avaiable, igot best grooming award in FHM UK. the sahver comes with its own stoarge which also acts as the self clenaing system, which when used makes the shaver feel like brand new! The cleaner itself is not that nice to smell and once opened the cartridge must be used completely it lasts about a mnonth, before the storage can be taken on your travels, this is the onlky slight probelm, but is overcaome by the oncklusion of a very attrcative carry case and also very effective manual cleaner brush whioch works well. The shaver also indicates when it needs reoiling or cleaning by the LCd screen on the side which is very useful indeed! This shaver is very quick to use and goiod for your skin, as i dont suffer from breakouts or irritaion anymore! i cannot recommend this product enough if you can affoprd it that is!

I bought the Braun Synchro 7570 Electric Razor a few months ago and just love it. It did set me back PDS.99.00 but I think its money well spent. I was previously using a normal Gillette Sensor razor. The major benefit to me with the Braun Electric is that it is much faster especially when you are rushing to work every morning. It also provides a very close shave but not as close as the straight razor. It, however, still does the job very well though. I still do use the straight razor on some occasions like on the weekend, when I’m invited to a party or to a friends house, because nothing can really give you a clean shave like a straight razor. One nice feature is the LCD display. It lets you know the battery life and when it needs to be cleaned. It automatically cleans itself and charges relatively fast. I have not had any problems with the razor yet. The cleaning cartridge needs to be changed after around 40 shaves and they cost around PDS.2.00 each when you buy the twin pack. I would recommend this razor to anyone who is looking for a nice shave with the ease of a self-cleaning razor. It is also nice to know exactly how long you have left in battery life, literary done to the minute.

I decided to try this Braun Shaver after my previous Philishave rotary shaver required new heads and would not hold much charge in its batteries. The first thing to say about this shaver is that it is not cheap at about #160. But for me it was worth every penny. The most important aspect of any shaver is how well/close it shaves. It is the closest shave i have had from a dry shaver ever, almost baby smooth!! This is after just a few days of use, and Braun include a note in the package saying that men switching from rotary shavers may take two weeks to get best results, so things can only get better. The next thing of importance to me is build quality, having owned two Philishaves previously which own really performed for two years at their best, it's too early to say how the Braun will compare, but it certainly looks and feels as though it is built better. The 7570 model of this shaver is set apart from its siblings by an LCD screen which displays operation details. Such as the amount of charge left in the batteries, how long the charging time is when it is plugged in and the duration of your last shave. It even displays a smiley face when the battery is full!! Also included in the box are a very nice leather style carrying case and the clean and charge system. The clean and charge system is a base station to drop the shaver into when not in use that as the name suggests cleans and charges the shaver. The cleaning system is fully automatic and uses a cartridge of cleaning fluid that is replaced each month. There is even a light to tell you when to change the cartridge. The cleaning cycle takes about 5-10 minutes and is a pretty impressive trick to show your friends!! The result is the shaver will feel brand new with each shave and it probably extends the longevity of the shaver as the cleaning fluid contains some lubricant to keep it in tip top condition constantly. In summary, this shaver is really su
perb and i wonder how i survived without it!! I didn't think i could get this excited about a shaver

          Disadvantages

The Braun Syncro Series of shavers is possibly the first major breakthrough in shavers in many years. It is a SYSTEM. It incorporates a self-cleaning system that thoroughly cleans the shaver after each shave and releases a measured amount of lubricant which probably extends the life of the cutting heads and the foil. Braun claims average life, using it once a day, is 18 months before cleaning effectiveness is reduced by about 25% and the cutting assembly/foil should be replaced. It comes in four models: 7505 - lists around £80, sells for around £65. No display and no cleaning unit is included. Cleaning unit can be purchased later. Somewhat difficult to clean manually - remove the head and use included brush. 7526 - lists around £100, sells for around £80. Includes cleaning unit but no display. Essentially does everything the two more expensive units do. The owner must judge when the battery need recharging. 7546 - lists around £130, sells for around £100. Adds a LED display (6 LEDs I believe). They provide information about battery condition I believe - I haven't really examined one. 7570 - list around £160, sells for around £120. The top of the line. Has a full Liquid Crystal Display on the shaver. Tells battery charge graphically - when fully charged shows a smiley face! After each shave tells you the duration of the shave. Can provide simplified use instructions and part number of the replacement cutter head. All of these features are fun but do NOT have any effect on the shave. (This is the unit I purchased). The Syncro shavers provide the closest shave I have ever had with an electric razor. I previously tried, and discarded, the top of the line Grundig and had settled on the previous best Braun. I have tried rotary models in the past, including the best Norelco units made before this year, and could never get a clean shave with them. (Maybe there are rotary beard people and foil beard people). I agree with mo
st of the previous comments on shaving effectiveness. The cleaning unit is a major breakthrough in my opinion. It plugs into the wall outlet (110 or 220 volts) and the shavor plugs into the unit, cutter head down. It starts automatically into a cycle lasting around 15 minutes. If the battery needs recharging you push a button on the unit and that will be done while it cleans. Takes around an hour to recharge. A warning light comes on if the cleaning fluid needs changing. I found this happens between 30 and 45 days/shaves. It is difficult to replace the cleaning cartridge which slides into the bottom of the unit. The cleaning unit will NOT travel without removing the cartridge and placing a plastic cover over some holes on the top of it. I choose to leave it at home and clean manually when I travel. The cleaning cartridges cost around £4 when purchased in twin packs and £3 each when purchased by the dozen. The shaving action is similar to several of the newer foil shavers with a sideways motion added to the back and forth motion. The foil is very thin, possible the thinnest on the market, and this helps me get a very close shave without irritation. BUT, as I have mentioned, the main breakthrough is the cleaning system - which should (if Braun is correct) result in much longer cutter head life. The main drawbacks are the difficulty in changing cleaning fluid cartridges and the fact that the cleaning unit cannot travel - and, as I have mentioned, it is harder to clean manually than most other foil shavers I have used. I would not recommend it to people who are constantly on the road. In fact, after making one seven day trip, I have elected to carry my older Braun when I travel. I have used this shaver for around three months. Since no one product seems to be able to capture the market by itself, I predict that other shavers will soon be introduced with self-cleaning/lubricating systems. It will be interesting to watch what the comp
          etition develops!
