This shaver does what it claims to do.

I purchased this shaver, after i had a mild stroke. This affected my right hand and left it with a weakness. Not the best thing when you have a razor in your hand. So after years of wet shaving i decided to try this shaver. A question of needs, must have.

I was a bit apprehensive about this shaver at first. I had been shaving with a blade for many years. So i gingerly started up this Panasonic ES RT31 and started to shave. I had a pre shave balm on my face. I was most impressed with my first try. I learnt to follow the contour of my chin and throat. Although i had the balm on, i found that the shaver pulled a bit at my skin.

This being my first time of using the shaver. I had a good look in the mirror, and thought not too bad. I was to find out that if i shaved in the morning and was going out somewhere special at night. Then i had to shave again, whereas with a blade this was not so.

I knew i had to persevere and i have. Learning as i go on and getting better all the time. Particularly when it came to around where a mustache would be. That took a bit of navigating and i had a few tries before i got that right.

In my younger days a was a painter and you have to get the angle of the brush right, if you wanted to get the finish that you wanted. The same principle was being used here. Having mastered that, i then tried the wet shave.

I was very nervous on that one. Wet near electric?. Not in my book, but once again i had to try it. The result? very pleasantly surprised and i felt safe. All in all i would recommend this shaver to anyone. And i enjoy using it, it charges up in about four hours and last me a good five days shaving.

Now you can use the same rechargeable device for both wet and dry shaves. Featuring a slanted three-blade cutting system its pivoting head follows the contours of your face for a really close shave. There's also a pop-up trimmer to trim sideburns more easily. Great if you're in a rush it only takes 5 minutes for a quick charge / so you don't have to wait around / while the motor speed gives you 10000rpm of power for smooth easy results.
