      A quality Electric Shaver

The Philips AT 890 aqua shaver is an electric shaver made by the electrical Giant Philips, one of if not the leading company in shavers. It is designed to be used for both wet and dry shaves and can be used with or without shaving cream.

Look - As there is no above logo, the shaver looks like a standard Philips shaver with a blue and silver streak along the side with three shaving heads that bend to the face shape for a closer shave. The shaver also has a trimmer attached to the back which can be flipped up for doing sideburns and the neckine. The heads are easily cleaned by flicking them up through the release of a catch to empty the shaving reservoir of trimmings. The shaver comes with a small brush to clean the shaving heads to maintain the product life.

How good? This would perhaps be my fourth ever shaver, as all my previous ones have been Philips and all last a really long time. In fact the only real reason I change is due to the shavers becoming blunt and it is often cheaper to buy a new shaver instead of new heads. The Philips AT890 shaves really well, even after having it for around nine months now, I still do get a really close shave without the use of water or cream. The head shapes around the face well and leaves a nice smooth feeling. To put it simply, it shaves really well. I have yet needed to replace the shaving heads and just rinse it out and give it a clean every now and then. My skin does not get cut or nipped by the shaver either.

Price - Can be found online for around the £50-70 mark so not too expensive for a Philips quality product.

Battery - Each charge lasts about a week ie seven days, if you were to shave for about five minutes once each day. Charging time is only an hour, perhaps one of the shortest out there and there is a light that appears when the battery is low, and turns green when fully charged which is always useful.

Overall - I have always found Philips shaver to work really well and have high reliability. This shaver gives me a good close shave and gives the option for you to use it on both a dry or wet face, with or without shaving cream, which many others do not. A great shaver to go for if you prefer electric razors but still want to enjoy the comfort of using shaving cream.
