The Philishave 830 is one of Philips' mid-range electric shavers, and for about £60 (I think, I really can't remember; I bought it quite a while back) it's not a bad buy, if you want a piece of equipment that may slightly irritate some peoples skin, though mainly providing a fast and alternative option to shaving foam and razors. The 830 is a stylish compact model that comes in grey, with a 3 oscillating head system, as well as a sideburn/moustache trimmer, and a suave water-proof mini sports bag for it. The unit functions by being recharged overnight using the supplied cable (which requires a 2 pin plug adapter) which can give you a couple of hours of good usage. I really wish it had a power-remaining indicator, I know I can find them in expensive shavers, but it's just a little common sense thing that would make sure you don't spend the day looking like Jekyl and Hyde on each side of your face sometimes. Aside from that, it's a nice item for a bloke to have, especially for when you need to shave fast, and it comes with a nice green power charging indicator and a brush to clean out the blades, which take a bit of an age when you've not shaved for days. It's just a shaver, but it's a stylish one, and I get by with it.
