I've never really been a fan of electric razors - always found that they give you a patchy shave and can irritate the skin if you really try and go over the same areas a few times. And on the other hand, I couldn't be bothered to wet shave every day as I try and maximise my time in bed prior to work. Anyway, I went out and bought the Remington RS6720 the other day as it was on offer. Main Features: 1) Twin Foil with extra cutter in between the foils 1) Pop-up sideburn / long hair trimmer 1) 8h Charge time / 2weeks average shaving capacity 1) Rinse-clean foils / cutters 1) Rechargeable only (no mains shaving capability) I have shaved with this a few times now and get an excellent shave - I normally wet shave and don't cut against the grain so I get a clean shave, but not totally smooth. This electric gives a comfortable, smooth shave. However to maintain this you have to shave daily: any less frequently and the shave won't be as good (this is the case for all electrics as far as I'm aware). It only takes about 2min to shave and I have a pretty fast-growing stubble. The razor itself looks quite good, is lightweight and fits into the hand well (personally, I think the colour is awful with this yellow shroud). It is comfortable to shave with although I found it a bit odd at first to shave with the two foils. The slightly more expensive shavers in this range have the advantage of having a quick charge time, whereas this model needs to be charged for 8h to give about 2weeks of shaving. Every now and then, it is recommended that you discharge the battery entirely then charge for 24h to maintain optimum performance. One factor in buying this is the rinse-clean capability - this is good as it really stops the foils getting clogged up without you having to fiddle around tapping the head and brushing the internal cutting heads – this should hopefully increase the lifespan of the shaver. So to conclude, this is a very good razor for the price and I am extremely impressed with the ease and closeness of the shave – at the end of the day, that’s what I got it for!!!
