Braun Oral-B
Fresh breath and nice teeth are always something that I pride myself on and I do believe that having nice teeth really is very important. I have been using this toothbrush for a few years now and I am really very happy with the results and the performance of the toothbrush itself, which is why I thought I would write a review of it.
I had this toothbrush bought for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago but I have since bought one for my partner and that cost me nearly 25 quid coming in at £24.99pence. They are often on special offers and they can be found cheaper on the Internet I do believe.
The cost of replacement heads is around the £6 mark, which gets you two new heads, and I usually get these from Tesco and my boyfriend and me will change heads at the same time. This price for replacement heads is fairly steep considering I change them every three months which is about how long each head will last. Compared to buying a standard toothbrush this is quite costly but I do feel that the results are well worth it.
The toothbrush when you buy it comes in three parts, which are the charger, the toothbrush body and the tooth crush head. When I first got the toothbrush there was one replacement head that came with the purchase and this is an added bonus.
There are different coloured rings that fit around the bottom of the toothbrush head and this can be helpful especially if there is more than one person in the family with one of these or in fact people can share the toothbrush body just as long as they change the head to their own brush. This would have been a far cheaper thing for e and my partner to have done but he seems to get toothpaste covering everything so I would much prefer to have my own full toothbrush head and body to call my own.
The toothbrush charge has a plug just like an electric razor and will need an adaptor to fit into a normal plug socket or if you are lucky enough to have a shaver charger in your bathroom this will fit in there easily and the toothbrush charges up nicely over night giving enough energy to last about a week or so. Inside the back of the charger holder you are able to store any extra heads that you have as there is a designed space just for this purpose.
The toothbrush main body is an easy shape to hold onto and is a nice white and blue in colour. The brush boast the fact that there is a 2-minute timer integrated within the brush and this will go off by changing the way that the brush vibrates. It is quite obvious when the two minute timer goes off and this is very handy because two minutes really does feel like a long time an dif you were to count on your own you would certainly be out by at least 30 seconds or so. Dentists do also recommend that two minutes of brushing morning and evening is the correct amount of time to spend on your pearly whites.
This particular toothbrush also has two different speeds at which you can set it to brush. I don’t know why anyone would want to use the slower setting, as the faster one seems to be far more effective in cleaning the teeth to the utmost. I always have mine set to the faster of the two and I feel this works brilliantly.
The brush head is small and circular, which compared to a standard non rechargeable toothbrush is a small area but a pea sized drop of toothpaste fits on well and this is really the amount of paste that you need. The brush rotates a lot and really does clean the teeth well. I am able to work the brush easily around all of my teeth and the head fits nicely into the back of my mouth.
The brush seems to get into all the right places and since I have flossed before hand my teeth really do appear immaculate after using this brush as well. I am totally impressed by the results of everyday use of this brush and over a period of time I do feel that my teeth are white as a consequence of using it.
I find rechargeable toothbrushes are far better to use than the standard DIY toothbrush. They may be a lot more expensive to initially buy and to then keep buying the replacement heads by I find this price is certainly worth it for the brilliant Hollywood smile that you are getting. Put that disposable brush down and go and get one of these! They are fantastic!
