Advantages: Works great

Disadvantages: None

There is not much point having perfect makeup and beautiful clothes whilst having unsightly teeth. This Oral-B Professional care 2000 is made by the very well know and trusted name of Braun.

This is an electric, rechargeable toothbrush. It comes with a docking station that has a two prong like adaptor plug. The toothbrush once I place it into the charger base will of course begging to charge. I had to leave this over night for it's first charge as recommended by the manufacture. A little green light flashes while it is charging. This little light is on the brush Itself and it will change from green to red when it needs recharging. I like this little touch as my last toothbrush had no such light and the only way you could find out that it was on its last legs was when it would just drain and stop half way through brushing. This will not happen with this brush as long as you keep an eye on the little light. The brush can be returned to the Base after each use but I just pop it back on when I see the dreaded red light. This also came with two replaceable heads for the brush. One is to be used for your normal cleaning routine and the other is to be used for sensitive use. These heads will of course will need to be replaced once they begin to look flat and raggedy. The heads are available in most supermarkets nationwide. There is also a easy to understand instruction manual to tell you everything you will need to know.

To use this brush, I just pop on a head, apply a small amount of tooth paste to the brush (these brushes are very small and round and not the standard shape of a toothbrush head) press the button and off I go. This is a smart toothbrush in that it vibrates to tell you when to move on to another section of your mouth such as your right hand side of your bottom teeth after cleaning them for fifteen seconds it will vibrate to tell you to move to the left hand side of your bottom teeth and so on. This is a great little idea as it helps to prevent over brushing and it also reminds you to brush properly and fully. There is another little simple warning tool with this brush. On the side visible while brushing a little red light will appear if you apply to much pressure. This is fantastic as brushing to hard will result in enamel erosion and gum damage.
When it comes to the end of this program it vibrates for a longer period of time to inform you that you should stop and rinse.

The brush head doesn't only spin like on most brushes it also pulsates meaning it will give you a better, deeper clean.

Thankfully I have bright, White teeth but this brush does make my teeth feel super clean and soft against my tongue. My overall oral health is benefiting from including this in my daily routine. I still floss and rinse using an alcohol free mouthwash and all three of those things means a clean, bright looking smile and  healthy, fresh breath. And that is very important when you are up close and personal with clients every day. We all know what it is like to have someone with bad breath breathing into your face, it's not pleasant to say the least. This very intelligent brush can help prevent such embarrassing and offensive situations from occurring so for me this is a great buy.

Summary: A very simple to use but vey intelligent electric toothbrush
