Advantages: Makes teeth feel new!
Disadvantages: There are none!
Me and my boyfriend just was in Morrisons in Newark and randomly saw this toothbrush. It was £80 which is a lot for just a toothbrush but these are seriously amazing. We both impulse bought one. We then had to travel round and find an adapter because the plug is a plug for a bathroom which neither of us had. We looked around and just couldnt find one. Then it came to mind "Idiots - lets try Wilkinsons". We went there and straight away found one. I cant remember exactly how much it was, but Im pretty sure it was under a pound.
It said you have to charge it for like a full 16 hours before using it. I completely forgot about mine and left it in the car, but my boyfriend really wanted to try his. So he charged it and a few days later he used it. He said it was really amazing. I thought I'd give mine a go so I cahrged mine for hours on end then used it the next day.
WOW! Honestly, I could not believe how my teeth felt. They were so smooth and clean. The cleanest they had ever felt. Im not even over exagerating. Cleaner than when you've had your teeth cleaned at the dentist. It was mega fast and surprised me on how it felt. I use it everyday for 2 minutes (which is the recommended time).
The charger is a sort of stand, you wouldnt even think it was a charger because it has no metal bits or anything, but I guess it wouldnt have because its supposed to go in a bathroom. My toothbrush needs charging about every three weeks. I just plug it in over night. It indicates it needs charging because the battery icon starts flashing red when you turn it off after using it. Because me and my boyfriend have the same toothbrush we use the same charger, the one that came with mine is still brand new. You can tell when its going to need charging because it starts to get slower over time. It isnt a loud toothbrush, it ist silent but it isnt exactly noisy. Its completely waterproof so you dont have to worry about getting it wet.
I suffer with bad teeth, I have all my life. With my old manual brish my gums used to bleed quite bad, but its quite rare they do now since using this brush. There is a light on the back of the brush towards the top. When your pushing too hard it tells you by flashing red. If you hold it on your teeth too hard it will just stay red until you release it. I feel with this toothbrush its less of a hassle aswel and some days when Im in a rush, I can just wip over my teeth in like 10 seconds and they still end up feeling clean.
It comes with three heads all together. One is for sensitive teeth. Also there is a sensitive setting. If you turn the brush on, its just normal then if you press the on/off button again it turns it to sensitive which I would just call slower. If you press it again it turns it off. I would honestly never go back to a manual brush, I never could knowing the results of this one.
This toothbrush seems expensive but you can get cheaper ones, and more expensive ones. Also around Christmas time they usually have an offer on which is all Oral B toothbrushes half price. You should definitely buy one then. Its so worth it.
Summary: Amazing - You just want to rub your tongue over your teeth again and again.
