Oral-B Professional Care 3000
Advantages: Great cleaning action
This is the latest item that I spent my Dooyoo earnings on in the form of the Amazon vouchers that I always opt for and on Amazon it was half price (and still is as I have just checked) however it is still not exactly cheap for a toothbrush as it cost me around the £50 mark, at the moment you can get it for £48.65 so like I said this is quite a considerable purchase for a rechargable toothbrush however it is an impressive piece of kit and I have noticed the difference in the quality of the clean that I get when using this.
The Oral B 3000 toothbrush does certainly give you choices, for a start there are four different head types to utilise and there are three different modes that you can set for the toothbrush, there is the bog standard daily setting that I tend to use all of the time however if you teeth are feeling sensitive then there is a softer option that you can go for. There is also a polish mode that really does leave your teeth feeling very smooth and I tend to use this about once every two weeks. It is a really powerful toothbrush indeed, there are 8,800 rotations a minute apparently according to the box and it is not only spinning but moving in three directions so you are supposed to get a better, more thorough clean and my mouth certainly feels like it after using this.
The stand that it sits in also has storage space for each of the other heads and has a green indicator light to signal when the brush is full charged. The brush at the moment is holding its charge really well and I reckon on having to recharge it every 10 to 14 days so in effect you could probably just about get a two week holiday out of a fully charged toothbrush. When using the toothbrush there is a timer facility that signals every 30 seconds so you can allocate an even amount of time to each area of your mouth as you are supposed to brush your teeth for 2 minutes at a time. You know when the 30 seconds are up as the toothbrush has a short intermittent action to the brushing action so you do not have to listen out for anything as you know when the change is needed.
It is well designed and easy to grip and it is also easy to remove the heads and to keep it nice and clean after use just by swilling with water. The brush heads are nice and compact as well so it is easy to manoveur.
The results are great and while the full rrp is the equivalent to a painful visit to the dentist hopefully using this will make my teeth healthier and means that visits for treatment are not needed.
Summary: Good quality brush but not cheap
