Intro
------
After years and years of cleaning with a normal regular toothbrush, and beefing up my wrists whilst doing it, i decided that i would give an electric one a go! I had some vouchers for a local pharmacy store and thought, why not. I asked around inside, and was recommended the Braun Oral B version above. I asked why and was told that Braun are a recognised name within the business, and being part of Procter and Gamble, you can be assured that the product you are receiving is going to be good quality. More importantly, it means it will last, which obviously is something that you have to look for when spending upwards of £20 on a toothbrush!

The brush
-------------
The brush is nice to look at and certainly will not become a large wind turbine like eye-saw in your bathroom! It has a blue on, off button, which is rubber making it water resistant, which is a nice handy feature. It also has an interesting auto off function when you push to hard on your teeth. I think this is a bit Over the top, in my opinion, i am capable of judging when i am brushing too vigorously! However, i have only activated it when messing around and trying to get it to come on, so it is not that much of an issue. It auto-charges and will probably last you about 10 days when fully charged.

From the box, i can tell you that the brush boasts 20,000 pulses and 7600 revolutions per minute. Now, i am not a dentist, but that sounds like a lot and suggests to me that it is really helping my teeth.

It is comfortable when brushing, and certainly does not cause any pain or bleeding, which is particularly important when applying a new head, for example. Speaking of which, these are available in packs of 4 for £8, but that will last you a good while, probably about 3 months, depending on your vigorous brushing, so it isn't a large expense really, and certainly should not put you off purchasing the product.

In terms of cleaning, this is also very easy, the heads detach obviously and the whole item can be easily cleaned with a cloth and some running water if you have spilt toothpaste all down it! Something i seem to do constantly!!

I believe you can pick this up on Amazon for about £22, i paid slightly more than that in my local shops, or would have done without vouchers, so it is definitely worth looking around on the net to get the best deal.

I would love to comment on durability but as i have only owned it about 2 months i think that may be a bit premature! At the moment it is holding up perfectly, and with the manufacturer behind it being so recognised i think that this will only continue in the future.

Summary
-----------
I'm no dentist and i do not claim to have a great knowledge of the rival products but i have found no fault with this and it seems to be keeping my teeth nice and pearly, so there are no complaints, and i would not hesitate in recommending this product to friends or family.
