We've had this toothbrush for about a year now and think it's a great electric toothbrush. It comes with a plug in docking station which makes for easy recharging, you simply place it on the station.

As we all know the recommended brushing time is 2 minutes, I do wonder how many people actually do this! This toothbrush splits the 2 minutes out into 30 second sections, one for each quarter of your mouth, at which point there is a couple of pauses in the vibration, this means it's time to change quarters! In my opinion this is great as it helps you to ensure that you are spending equal amounts of time on all your teeth.

I think that the handle is nice to grip and feels comfortable in your hand, it's also not too heavy so you don't get achey arms, although some children might struggle.

The heads are easily replaceable, we buy the general Oral B heads which fit this model. They have some blue bristles which over time turn white, so you can tell when it's time to change your head. The coloured rings which come with the heads make it easy to identify which toothbrush head is yours, you don't want to be halfway through brushing your teeth and realise you're using the wrong one!

You know when it's time to recharge because as you are using it you will hear a soft beeping sound, the first time it did this I was wandering around the bathroom trying to work out what on earth that noise was, until I realised that the red light on the front of the handle was flashing! When this happens we place it on the charging station overnight and it's fully charged by the next morning.

It only needs charging about once a week so I think that this is a great battery life.
