Advantages: great cleaning, easy to use, everything you could want in a brush

Disadvantages: battery is dying a couple of years in

I got this toothbrush as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. It was purchased on offer in Boots and I have subsequently noticed that there are frequent offers for this toothbrush and £70 is an average price for it.

I had earlier models of the Oral B toothbrush but the Triumph knocks them out of the sink!

In terms of style, it is nothing out of the ordinary looks wise but is comfortable to hold and easy to move around your mouth to get to the back of your teeth.

The brush heads are medium bristle so just the right texture for good brushing without being too severe.

the toothbrush comes with a little monitor which tells you how long you have been brushing for and what mode you have been brushing in. There is standard brushing mode, massaging mode and a little bit of both mode.

even without the monitor, the brush vibrates in a different way every 30 secs so you know when it is time to move to the next section!

The brushing mode is perfect for every day use and i use the massaging mode when i am polishing my teeth with colgate professional clean for example which i use once a week for an extra clean.

Either way, your teeth are left feeling squeaky clean. I have checked that i am brushing properly by using disclosing tablets and the brush cleaned every last bit of residue away. I have also been complemented on my cleaning by my hygienist so it is doing what it says on the tin.

A couple of years into use i am finding that the battery is losing charge very quickly and i have to recharge every couple of days. If it is down to even half power you really feel the brush struggling. Time to invest in a new battery i think! i haven't looked into buying a new battery so i hope it is easy to find and not difficult to replace as I don't want to be without my triumph. I would have no hestitation recommending this to anyone
