Regular oral b electric toothbrushes just as good, but is quite a flashy brush

I'm a dental student and was given it for free as a reward for attending a lecture (jammy i know, but in fairness was a really long lecture). I was a little sceptical about using this.

as this was being forced on to me, i thought i might as well make use of it. I've written an honest review of what i really think of it.

      *******Advantages*******

Using blue tooth technology there is a control panel which tells you how long you have been brushing
for (2 mins is the recommendation). then it splits this into four so you seperate the mouth into four sections and dedicated 30 seconds to each section of your mouth. the quadrant flashes on the control panel, and your toothbrush gives a little vibration every 30 seconds.
I find this useful as it gives me a guide as to how long i should spend. before when i was using a manual brush I'd be there fore ten-fifteen minutes thinking it was good for me.

Also I know dentist bang on about tooth-wear so i guess this part is really important, and the control panel alerts you with a warning signal when your pressing too hard when using it which i find useful. it sounds trivial but my dad developed gum recession and sensitivity from years of brushing his teeth like a maniac...he learnt the hard way.

I carried out a test to see how well these bad boys clean. firstly a few weeks before i got given this brush i cleaned my mouth with a manual tooth brush, then used disclosure tablets to see the bits where i missed. i then cleaned my mouth to get rid of the parts that i missed and it took me 15 mins to remove everything (and i have good oral hygiene!). then when i got given this toothbrush i did the exact same test, and although there were a few parts of plaque still visible with the tablets, i found overall that it had gotten rid of plaque a lot more in a lot less time than my manual brush had. Extensive research has proven that by the circular motion of electric toothbrushes it does get rid of more plaque than a manual brush.

The control panel also shows there are settings for daily, sensitive, deep clean, polish and massage.
you control the settings on the tooth brush and indicate which one you wish to use. to be honest they don't really make a difference, it really doesnt polish your teeth or massage your mouth or give you a "deep clean". either the vibrations for the tooth brush head go slower, or the timer is set for longer
      than 2 minutes.

Battery life is good, last ten days without charging, provided you brush your teeth twice a day.

I like that it also comes with four other head including interdental cleaning brushes to get tricky areas
between teeth. tooth brushing alone removes 50% of plaque, whereas cleaning in between the teeth will bring this figure up to 70%. but you can always buy floss, or interdental brushes.

If you don;t have a clock in your bathroom its quite useful as the control panel displays the time.

      Travel case is useful.

      *******Disadvantages*******

It's not going to make your mouth any more clean than any other electrical tooth brush, and its a bit ridiculous to say this brush will suddenly make your mouth super clean and plaque free for hours after.
you can buy other electric oral b tooth brushes for a lot cheaper that will give you the same effect.

I say this because you know at the end of the day it depend how well you yourself brush your teeth, BUT this toothbrush does make cleaning a hell a lot more fun :) the control panel indicates your completion of 2 minutes of brushing by showing a smiley face ...and if you're really good and do an extra 30 seconds you even get a winking face. which is quite nice especially in the morning. it is quite encouraging especially for kids, and people like myself :)

I find that though the interdental brush head is good i actually find manual interdental brushes (you can buy from sainsburies for £2) a lot easier to use than the head supplied with this toothbrush. also if you really want one you can just buy this counterpart seperately for a normal electric toothbrush.

I do manage to get my toothpaste/water mixture everywhere like a beast, and dripping down
my brush. i dont know, it may just be me. i often find myself cleaning the base a lot, like everytime i brush i give it a rinse through otherwise you can get build up and it can get a bit sticky and nasty.

      *******Summary*******

I have noticed a difference overall when using electric tooth brushes. Before this brush I'd used manual brushes, then used a regular oral b electric toothbrush. We often carry out our training on
each other, and whereas when i used to use a manual brush I'd get some bleeding on probing, now i dont get any and this represents really healthy gums. so i hopefully won't be edentulous by the time im 30 (joking). but seriously it really helps so long as its used properly. i believe its supplied with a DVD to show people how to brush properly.

Truthfully, it does have little perks that you really dont need, it does give a good clean but i reckon you'll get a good clean in an ordinary oral b electric tooth brush.

If i wasnt given this for free, i really doubt i would have gone out and bought one. a lot of my fellow
dental students also agreed with me. It is a nice flashy device if you've got cash to throw around. I will continue to use it until it dies, it does the job I want it to do with a few (pointless) extras.

I usually recommend to the patients I treat to get themselves a regular oral b electric toothbrush, I do not necessarily recommend this one to them.

You can purchase Braun Oral B Triumph Professional Care 9900 from prices ranging between £65 (http://www.moderntimesltd.com) to £160.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Recommended if you want to spend more on a higher end product which will last for a long time.

I bought this toothbrush a few years ago and it is still going strong. It is definetly the best toothbrush I have purchased.

In the pack it comes with two heads (one for normal brushing and one for polish), a storage dock for both of these and the toothbrush, a travel case and the display.

This toothbrush has four settings, (clean, soft, massage and polish). When you place the right toothbrush head on the main body it will automatically go on the right setting.

The display is there to tell you which setting the toothbrush is on, times how long you should be brushing (and where), and also tells you when you are brushing too hard.
The display is also quite handy for the time if you don't have a clock in your bathroom.
After you've finished brushing your teeth for 2 minutes a happy face pops up on the display, which is nice.

One problem I have found after using it for a while is that on the display it tells me that I am brushing too hard, regardless of the pressure I put on it. However that seems to be the only problem I have had so far.
The battery life is average, so no problems there if you charge it regularly. It has not run out of battery when I have been on holiday.

Overall I would recommend this product is you are willing to spend more on a more sophisticated product, and enjoy that 'just been to the dentist' feeling. However this product isn't an essential purchase.

        Disadvantages

        Its now my bathroom essential!

I have owned an Oral B Triumph for around a couple of years now and I think its one of the best purchases I have ever made.

This happened to be something I bought on impulse. I had been thinking about investing in an electric toothbrush but spending a small amount of money on it. However, on a trip to Boots there was an offer on all Oral B electric toothbrushes and with a sales person hanging around I was persuaded in to buying this. At the time with money off and boots points it was too hard too resist! On offer I picked this up for around £100, though now it can be bought for around this price normally. However, Oral B regularly bring out half price offers on all their electric toothbrushes.

The Oral B Triumph comes with the electric toothbrush (shock horror!), charger and stand, travel case, smart guide and two replacement heads.

The toothbrush itself is very easy to use as it has two buttons. One button is to switch it on and off, the other is to swap through different brush settings. There are four brush settings: polish, normal, sensitive and massage. The setting that the brush automatically chooses is dependendent on the brush head that you are using, for example the brush recognises a brush head designed for polishing and will set the brush to the same mode. However, if you dont like this mode for any reason you can change it just by pressing a button. When you use the brush, it lets you know that you have been using it for thirty seconds by changing the brushes motion for a couple of seconds and then retuning to normal. This continues for every thirty seconds you brush, though at two minutes it becomes more elaborate so you know you have brushed for the right amount of time.

The smart guide for the toothbrush is very innovative and is what swayed me in to buying the product in the first place. The smartguide is a small, wireless display that can sit on a shelf in your bathroom or attach to the wall. I have never tried to attach it to the wall, so I'm not sure how easy it is to attach. The display shows the time, which is very easy to set via a couple of buttons in the battery compartment, a circle and how much charge is left in the toothbrush.

When you use the brush the time on the clock switches to a timer showing how long you have been brushing for. Whilst doing this the circle on the screen also shades out one segment. The circle on the screen represents a quarter of your mouth, after 30 seconds the darkened quarter of the circle changes. This is to remind you that you need to spend time cleaning the whole your mouth. However, it is just a reminder and cant force you to do anything! After two minutes of brushing (the recommended time) a smiley face appears on the screen to show you that you're done. If you like to brush longer than this and go to two and a half minutes the smiley face turns in to a super smiley face to show how happy it is you have been brushing for so long!

Other features on the smartguide show you what setting your brush is currently in, either sensitive, polish etc. The smartguide also shows a little red triangle if you are brushing too hard, this helps you to avoid damaging your gums. It will also tell you when the toothbrush head needs replacing, after three months of use. What I love about the smart guide is that you can view everything infront of you, in other electric toothbrushes the handle has all the information on it, this seems a bit pointless as you cant really see it when your brushing, making the smartguide a very nice feature.

The travel case for the brush is very handy. Its very sturdy so theres no chance of the brush getting damaged when travelling. The stand for the brush is also useful, the stand has a compartment where you can keep spare brush heads, this is a great idea so that you cant loose them in a cupboard. The charger for the brush fits in to the stand very neatly, though this can be removed so you can take it away with you, without the stand, as the charger itself is fairly small.

Personally I love this brush. It was strange when I first used it as the handle itself is fairly big, but its somthing that you get used to. The first thing you notice about this brush is how well it brushes your teeth, no matter what toothpaste you use, if you use this for two minutes your teeth feel squeaky clean. I also feel that it gets rid of any bits of food that may be stuck between my teeth. Its definitely a much better clean than an ordinary toothbrush. The fact the smartguide also reminds you to move around your mouth is very handy, I must admit when I'm not paying attention I can quite easily brush one side of my mouth for ages and then quickly do the otherside, the smartguide stops me doing that. I do also love the fact that I get a smiley face when I finish brushing, theres something very satisfying about it! If you have an older child who doesnt like brushing their teeth then I would recommend this because I think it would help motivate them to brush.

Charging the toothbrush does take a fairly long time, I tend to leave mine charging overnight so that its fully charged for use in the morning. After having my brush for awhile now the charge doesnt keep as long as it used to. However, the brush does stay on it last bar of power for a very long time, though the clean is not as powerful as when fully charged.

The battery power of my toothbrush is not helped by the fact that both me and my other half use it. When I purchased this product it was bought for me alone. However, my other half decided his teeth werent looking so great and wanted to use my electric toothbrush. This made sense as we didnt want to pay out another £100 for the same thing. Changing the heads of the brush is very simple, so sharing the brush is not a problem. However, the function on the smartguide that tells you when the brush head needs changing becomes obsolete because the heads are being changed daily. Therefore I need to rememeber when the heads need changing, as they dont always look worn and ready for a change.

The only problem with this toothbrush for me is that the expense doesnt stop at the inital outlay to buy the product. A pack of four refill heads costs around £10.00, which is expensive. However, these should last you a year, which is comparable to what you might spend on normal toothbrushes through a normal year, so it doesnt annoy me too much!

All in all I think this is a great product and would definitely recommend it, even with its fairly hefty price tag.

Great toothbrush and has great features but needs to be cheaper!

Braun Oral B Triumph Professional Care 9900 is a great electric toothbrush and definitely does have some really good features! I love the little winks and smiley faces that appear when you have brushed for longer than 2 and a half mins - it encourages you to get to that level each time! It leaves your teeth with that super clean feeling and it's true it is like the dentist clean feeling!

Although personally I would say that any of the Professional Care range achieves the same, I bought the 8900 for like £50 and I think it is just as great! The Triumph is a little too pricey for a toothbrush especially because really you're just paying for the countdown on the Smart Guide and a smile and wink here and there! I found the cheaper ones to be just as powerful and you can teeth still sparkle and feel great! I would definitely say buy the cheaper Braun Oral B Professional Care ranges and enjoy the dentist clean feeling!!

          an Excellent Buy

I bought the Braun Oral B 9900 for my finance last year and I have to say hands down was the best gift I could have bought! (Brownie point to me). But not only has he used it twice a day for the past year, but I also have been converted. It has a magic wireless monitor which tells you how long you have been brushing for and gives a cheeky wink, when you get passed 2 minutes. Nice encouragement for those who find teeth brushing a chore.
You know the feeling you get when you have been to the dentists and run you run your tongue over your teeth? Thats the feeling you get every morning and evening. Fantastic battery life and so compact. Looks great in the bathroom too.
The toothbrush heads last at least 3 months but the monitor tells you when to change and also when you are pressing too hard so you dont damage the brush.
          Definately worth every penny.

A powerfull toothbrush ready to whiten your teeth

I got this toothbrush for Christmas and have used it twice a day since. This is the first electric toothbrush i have ever used, as i am a bit behind the times and have previously just opted for the manual.
You need to charge the tooth brush for a few hours before use. It is also a good idea to purchase an adapter when buying this toothbrush as it does not have the regular 3 pins, but instead 2. However these are cheap enough - i got mine from pound land.
Once charged the toothbrush is very easy to use. Simply press the button and off it goes. You do not need to move your arm in a brushing motion, just simply put the head against each tooth and let it do its magic. Once your two minutes is up you will get a smiley face to let you know you have brushed for an adequate amount of time.
Since using this toothbrush i have honestly found a great improvement in the whiteness of my teeth. I didn't think it would be possible, but in under a month my teeth are whiter than ever.
There are three different heads for the toothbrush which comes in the pack. These consist of the normal oral-b, one for extreme cleaning and the other for sensitive teeth. I have only used the normal head so far and it has served me well!
It also comes with a handy carry case for travelling and the charge lasts a good couple of hours use is on constantly, meaning you can take it on holiday without having to bring its charge stand. The charge stand itself is silent and it makes no noise what so ever. It is not big and bulky and just sits in the corner unnoticed. It also have a place for the spare heads to go so you know you wont lose them.
The price however is very expensive, but i still believe defiantly worth it. It comes in at around 100pounds but if it improves your teeth as it has mine, and additionally your health it is a small price to pay. Also when i got mine there was an offer on at half price, and as a result i got mine for just over 50pounds. Result!

A fantastic toothbrush that has saved my teeth! It's great fun but also very effective!

I couldn't recommend this toothbrush too highly. It is the best toothbrush I've ever owed, and will never clean my teeth with any other toothbrush ever again!!

The unique wireless timer display puts the fun back in cleaning your teeth. The toothbrush can be used without the display, but you miss out on alerts, such as when you're brushing too hard and when it's time to change the head on the toothbrush. and makes sure you're doing a proper job by cleaning each quarter of your mouth equally thoroughly. It has a wide range of options, but I find it works fine on default settings.

On default settings it allows 30 secs for each of the four quarters of your mouth, so a total of the recommended 2 minutes brushing. The circle on the right shows which quarter you should be brushing, from top right to bottom right to bottom left and finally top left. After 2 minutes brushing a smiley face appears in the middle!! The batteries for the display have lasted about a year, but as it uses 2 AA batteries they are easily replaced. While you're not using the tooth brush the display shows the current time, which requires setting when new batteries are inserted, using the two switches underneath the battery cover.

The toothbrush is one of the best toothbrushes you can buy. The battery life is good, lasting about a week without a recharge. Charging is done by placing the toothbrush in the charging cradle. Obviously it is safe to use in the bathroom, and uses a 2 pin shaver plug to power the charger. It's probably best to keep it with a reasonable level of battery life (shown on the display on the front of the toothbrush), as this will enable you to have the highest level of cleaning. The toothbrush can do 40,000 pulsations and 8,800 side to side movements every minute, which is why it is a brilliant toothbrush. It is much more effective than cleaning your teeth with a manual toothbrush, as 40,000 pulsations a minute is impossible by hand!!

As mentioned earlier the display alerts you when it's time to change the head on the toothbrush to ensure optimal cleaning performance. The heads are available at most chemists and supermarkets and also online. It's worth looking out for deals, as the heads can be quite expensive. I would recommend buying genuine Oral B heads, as these are far better quality than cheap compatible heads. They may seem expensive, but offer much better cleaning, and also they include sensors, to alert you when your brushing too hard (red light / picture on wireless display).

The 9900 also has 4 different brushing modes to accompany the 2 different heads included. I use it on the default cleaning setting, but there are options for Sensitive teeth, Massage and Polish. The 2 included heads are for Advanced Floss action (for everyday deep cleaning) and the ProBright for occasional polishing.

Overall I think the 9900 Professional is brilliant. It is very reliable and simple to use. Oral B really have thought of everything! They include a travel case for the toothbrush, which stops it getting turned on during transport, and also a sticker for wall mounting the wireless display. The manual is helpful, and includes brushing tips, personalizing the timer, smart guide display info, deactivating the radio transmission (for use in planes or hospitals!) and much more. There are also instructions on synchronizing two toothbrushes to two different displays to avoid interference, but I use one display between two toothbrushes, and its fine as long as you use it one at a time!

This toothbrush has really improved my oral hygiene. My dentist even recommends this toothbrush, even though she's not meant to recommend any toothbrushes!! I would give this toothbrush six star rating if Dooyoo would let me!!

not sure you need all the gimmicks but great brush

This toothbrush was recommended by my hygienist, so when my last electric toothbrush died i held my breath parted with a lot of money 86 GBP (it was on sale) and gave it a whirl. I did feel a bit of a ponce when i opened the box to discover all the added extras, dental hygiene sure has come a long way from a manual (a stick with bristles)! Anyway the toothbrush has a digital display which lets you know it's battery life which is great if you are off for the weekend and you need to know whether it requies a charge. It has three different settings including a sensitive teeth one, which i actually use on certain teeth (not just a gimmick). It has a timer so you clean each quadrant enough, which again i thought was a bit daft but it does work (again useful). The heads are very expensive and if dropped need to be replaced as they have a wee chip which talks to a remote digital display. The idea is if you brush too hard it will pop up and tell you to ease off and when to move segments. I think this is a bit OTT persoanlly, i think you know if you brush too hard and the brush pulses to tell you to move segments so why would you need a visual display too?? Anyway it does what it says - cleans you teeth so if you have heaps of cash to spend go for it! If not like me, maybe buy a cheaper relation without the posh blue tooth display (no pun intended).

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Go and buy it if your willing to pay for its price

After being advised by my dentist to switch too an electric toothbrush I decided to research into it as my knowledge of them was very limited. I was told to go with 'Braun Oral B' or 'Phillips Sonicare' as they were the best currently out on the market. After browsing the internet I finally came across this one on special offer at £70. I must admit at first it did seem a bit pricey but I came to the conclusion that as long as it gave me healthier teeth and gums then my dentist bills will also be smaller. So I would get the benefit both ways.

When I first opened my box there were many items that came along with the toothbrush itself. One of them being the wireless SmartGuide which in my opinion is the best feature. Its job is to basically tell you how you should be brushing your teeth everyday. Features of the Smartguide include a brushing timer which guides you too brush for 2 minutes. It also prompts you every 30 seconds to change from one section of your mouth to the other which allows you to brush them evenly. Of course you are allowed to brush for longer than 2 minutes at once.

The toothbrush also comes with a charging stand. Before use like with many electrical appliances, you need to charge it up which takes approximately 12 hours to do. After this you charge the toothbrush up when the battery is flat, idicated on a small LCD screen located on the toothbrush itself. However the charging time takes approximately 6-8 hours. You will have to do this for about 2 weeks if you brush them twice a day. So for about 60 minutes of use over the course of a fortnight, it needs to be charged for 8 hours, quite alot if you think about it.

You also get 2 toothbrush heads. One of them is just a standard electric toothbrush head, the other is called a FlossAction (the one with more yellow brushes on it). This is said to make your teeth whiter and give healthier gums.

You also get a carry case so you can take your toothbrush with you on your travels.

Now to the toothbrush itself. There are different modes to brush your teeth with that all have different purposes.

Clean: Standard clean for the teeth and gums

Massage: Good for brushing the gums as its more gentle than 'Clean'

Sensitive: Gentle for the sensitive areas

Polish: Good for whitening teeth and removing stains

I would highly recommend this electric toothbrush but only if you are willing to pay for its price, although I do advise to shop around for a bargain. Over the course of the 6 months I have been using the electric toothbrush I have had much whiter teeth and healthier gums.

However the electric toothbrush is not perfect and does come with some flaws. For example the compartment where the toothbrush heads are kept does get dirty. I recently discovered the horror of finding mould in there so make sure you clean it out every month or so because your putting the toothbrush head in your mouth!

Also I would advise not to take the toothbrush out of your mouth as you will have toothpaste splatter up your mirror. Also as mentioned before the price and the charging time are also disadvantages of mine for this product.

Finally the toothbrush heads sold seperatley are rather expensive. Dentists suggest replacing them every 3 months. I was quite annoyed at this considering I had already spent £70 in the first place. But at £3-£4 per toothbrush head, I'll let you decide if you think its abit pricey or not.

I hope this review has helped you

PS. My dentist told me to use both manual and electric toothbrushes as it enables you to reach areas of the mouth that the electric toothbrush can't access

                Would definately recommend

I received the Braun Oral B Triumph Professional Care toothbrush for Christmas last year and it is definately the best toothbrush that I have ever owned. The best thing about the toothbrush is that it has a two minute timer which makes a long vibration when you have been brushing your teeth for two minutes, which is the recommended time for brushing teeth. When you have brushed your teeth for two minutes the monitor also comes up with a smiley face. The toothbrush comes with a few settings, so you can put your toothbrush on clean, which is the one I normally use. You can also put it on soft if you have sensitive areas of your mouth. The toothbrush also comes with a massage button, however, after owning the toothbrush for more than a few weeks, I doubt that you will use this as the novelty soon wears off. The toothbrush comes with a charger, which is a small charger and is handier for taking away.

a great buy, can you hear the *ping* as I smile?

I did a lot of research for a sonic toothbrush. Finally after scouring the net, I came across a review of the top sonic toothbrushes by the Gadget Show. They took all the brushes to top dentist's and hygienists in London. This one came out top of the tree, so we ordered it from Amazon. We are so pleased with this brush, my teeth have never felt cleaner, and you can really notice the difference. The bluetooth timer is very good, as it makes you more aware of how long you are cleaning your teeth for, and what areas. There are several different functions, like polishing, or even a setting for a sensitive area of your mouth. I am due at the dentist tomorrow for a check up, and I am going to be interested to see how clean the hygienist thinks my teeth are. In my opinion, after a clean with this brush my teeth look, and feel as clean as when I come out of the dentist.

                Very good choice for gift.

Just got this item as the gift from my partner.Firstly,I would like to say the design was very lovely and it was very nice to have one of this on the bath room. The toothbrush came with a smartguide. It was not very useful and now it was the clock in my bathroom. The brush had four models and I quite like the massage one.The battery was good compared to the one I have before and it could lasted more than 10 days I think. One good thing with the item was the travel case. You could take it with you when you go somehwhere else easily and the weight was light. It came with just two heads which I thought was not very nice.Overall,I was quite happy with the products and only after 1 week use.I was feeling my tooth was cleaner than before.I would recommend this one if you want to get a nice toothbrush.

The best thing you could buy for your teeth.

This is the first electric toothbrush I have ever owned and would never use a manual toothbrush after buying this one around a year ago. The recommended price of around £140 was a bit steep for me so was delighted when I managed to get hold of mine from Amazon for £60! It cleans your teeth beautifully and the handy monitor tells you when to change the area you are brushing, when you need to replace the head, if you are brushing too hard and how long to brush for. It sounds strange but it really makes brushing your teeth in the morning a delight as you might be half asleep and the monitor is doing all the thinking for you! The only downside is the cost of the replacement heads but they are often on special offer in Boots or Superdrug, even the supermarkets, so I just bought as many as I could when they were cheap to avoid the hefty RRP.

You will soon realise this was money well spent

Over £100 is a lot to pay for a toothbrush, but think about it, a single visit to the dreaded dentist will cost you about this, just for a clean and polish. This has got to be the grandaddy of all brushes to warrant its price, let me tell you if it is.

First of all, the cost. If you realise that you could buy one head for each member of the family, say four. If you all use the same handle, this brings the cost down to £25 each. Not bad. Two of us use this one, so it equated to just over £50 each. In the package you get the brush handle, with nice battery indicator display, with on/oo and mode buttons. You get a standard head and a polishing head. The base for recharging, which also has a compartment for keeping the heads. This is covered, so keeps the dust of the important brushes. You also get a travel case. The brains of this model though is the wireless (bluetooth) display.

This Smart Display acts as a useful clock when not in use. It slips into a holder that you can mount on a tiled wall for safe keeping. When you turn your toothbrush on a timer starts, with little quarter segments appearing around a circle. The idea is that you brush the top left area of your teeth whilst this particular segment in filled in on the display. When 30 seconds elapses, the brush vibrates and the display moves you onto the next area of your mouth. Complete all four segments and you get a nice smiley face. Go over the two minutes brushing time and you get a cheeky wink. The display also lets you know which brushing mode you are in, standard, pulsating, polishing, feather light and also warns you if you are pressing too hard.

So for me, an adult, it helped get me used to brushing properly again. Sort of retraining me. For kids I could see it being of real benefit, because they seem to be able to brush their teeth in 30 seconds.

The modes are great, polishing head really works and the battery lasts well. After the first few uses you can feel that this gives a really good clean. It can feel quite rough at first, giving your mouth a real beating. Stick with it though and you will soon realise this was money well spent.

                      a toothbrush id recommend

I bought this toothbrush for my partner last christmas. It was the top of the range toothbrush, and had some great reviews, in the shops it was £130, but i managed to get it brand new from ebay for £40.

The toothbrush itself is excellent, it holds a charge for about a week, sometimes two. It has a battery level on the little lcd screen so you know how much life is left.

The toothbrush, also vibrates every 30 seconds, to tell you when to move on from brushing one area of your mouth, and after 2 minutes, it vibrates again to let you know that you can stop brushing. This is a great facility as it means you know when to stop brushing, and means your teeth get a good clean.

The toothbrush also has lots of different functions, so you can buy a polishing head, and you set the toothbrush to polishing mode, and then the toothbrush will act as a polisher.

You get a stand and a few other accessories, and the overall look and feel of the toothbrush is expensive.

This seems like a great toothbrush that really makes your mouth feel clean. You can buy different heads, that easily change, so you have one each, if like me you want to use your partners toothbrush, rather than buy two.

Im not sure i'd pay £130+ but if you can get a good deal on ebay then i'd really recommend this toothbrush.
