Advantages: Let the machine do all the work!

Disadvantages: Initial outlay, but cheaper in the long run.

I have been using this product every day for three years, ever sice I received one as a wedding present. I think this is one of those luxury items that you would probably never buy yourself, so if you do happen to be getting married soon, I would certainly ask for one of these whizzo new inventions.

Every time I go to the dentist, I also have to visit the oral hygienist, and she noticed the difference as soon as I had started using it. My uncle, who purchased it for me, owns his own chemist shop, so knows about various health matters, and highly recommended it.

Basically, there's none of this frantic up and down or side to side brushing, you just let this whirring thing loose in your mouth and off it goes. If you are still half asleep in the morning, or too tired at night, then worry not, this energy-saving device will soon do the trick.

I recharge the toothbrush about once a month and change the heads about 3 times a year. (£5.99 from Argos: tip: use your Somerfield points card, to make them a paltry 99p, or exchange your Boots vouchers: saves money in the long run)

I use Aquafresh toothpaste, but I suppose the brand makes little difference to the end result, but you do use less toothpaste, as the brush heads are smaller than a "manual" toothbrush.
