Advantages: Brushes well, timer, rechargeable

Disadvantages: None

All that up and down brushing, and poking and fussing
Didn't seem worth the time - I could bite!

Remember that? Well, up and down brushing is now a thing of the past, ever since my mother bought me a Braun Plaque Remover for Christmas. No, I'd never wanted one, I was happy with my old manual model - or so I thought.

One use, though, and I was hooked. The brush actually does the work, and the only job you have to do is load on the toothpaste and guide the brush to the right places. It is said that 2 minutes of electric brushing is worth a week of ordinary brushing. Well, I can well believe that. Even my dentist noticed a difference (although she had hinted before that should I get one, she recommended the Braun). But I digress.

The brush itself is easy to use, easy to hold. The heads are easy to change - they simply pull off - and you have different coloured discs on them to identify whose is whose.

The replacement heads are quite expensive at £7.00 for 2, but just think how much brushing they are doing. A week's worth every day! They even show you when they are wearing out and need replacing by the colour on the bristles getting lower.

Easily rechargeable (I pop it on recharge each weekend)and off we go again. Built in timer too, so it let's you know when you've been brushing for 2 minutes (the recommended brushing time).

Highly recommended - I don't know how I managed without one.
