Advantages: A very inexpensive electric toothbrush which does a great job!!!!
Disadvantages: None
I have been using an electric toothbrush for so many years now that even when I go away on holiday I have to take electric toothbrush and charger as my teeth just don't feel clean with any other sort of toothbrush.
Now I've had many over the years, with my last one being a nice pink Braun one, but the head needed changing and I don't know if it's just me but I hate paying out for a new head as they are so expensive. BUT a new head I needed!!
So of I trotted to have a look in Tesco's and hey they are doing Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Electric Toothbrushes for only £10, I had to have another look as this pack also had a spare head in as well. Now many a time I have got caught out with the wrong label being on the wrong spot on the shelf, so with a very close look it was right at only £10.
This is what I call a great bargain as my heads for my other toothbrush are around the same price as this, so I popped one into my basket and hurried home to put it on charge.
Now this toothbrush has to be charged for 16 hours for the first time which gives it 20 minutes of brushing, after that it say's that you can keep the toothbrush on the charging unit to mantain it's full power. I won't be doing that as I don't leave my brush on charge ever unless I'm charging it! So as soon as it starts to loose it's power I'll plug it back in to recharge, it also say's that overcharging is impossible.
If you choose to keep yours on charge then every 6 months you must let it run down to no charge and recharge it again from the beginning. You will know when you need to replace the brush head ( about every 3 months) when the colour indicator on the brush is worn away. This is 2 blue lines at the side, the brush has white bristles all over except for the 2 blue lines at the side which wear away and down until they are the same length as the white bristles ( I hope you understood that, it's a shame I can't draw you a picture to show!).
This toothbrush comes in a two-tone blue colour and has a 2 minute timer, which lets you know when you are done by shuddering when the time is up. Clever little thing!
So an electric toothbrush that tells you when to change it's brush and let's you know when to stop cleaning and comes with a charging unit and a spare little head all for £10 that is great value.
The only difference between this and my old one is that the head is a lot smaller, but I prefer that as it can get into all of the little spaces in your mouth and leave it feeling very refreshed and clean!!
A big 5 stars as this is great value!!!
Summary: Great value for £10, these used to be triple or more at one time!!
