Advantages: Good design, cleans deep
Disadvantages: Battery doesn't last long
I have had electric toothbrushes for around the last 5 years, they clean my teeth better and are of little extra maintenance than a manual brush.
My other electric toothbrush, also by Oral B stopped charging last Christmas so I got this one from Santa, and up to now it has done a sterling job.
It cleans thorough and deep, leaving my teeth feeling almost squeaky clean. The handle is rubber allowing for a better grip and I feel this protects the workings and battery better than previous ones. The head detaches allowing for replacement parts, these on average will need changing ever 5-6 months.
The battery charges by placing the toothbush onto the stand and plugging it into the wall socket, this is intended for shaving plug sockets and has the two pronged end, I assume an adaptor could be purchased if you wished to use it on an ordinary socket. I find the charge maybe lasts around three days which isn't great. There have been times where it has stopped completely and you just have to finish cleaning manually and plug it into charge.
I found for the price I paid (half price at Boots) last year it has been great and but for the limited battery flawless.
Summary: A good budget electric toothbrush
