Oral B Vitality Sensitive Clean Toothbrush.
What is it?
An electric toothbrush by Oral B.
This particular electric toothbrush is the 'Sensitive Clean' version, which means it has a specifically designed head that can be used for those who have extra sensitive teeth and gums. The head has extra softer bristles than the average toothbrush, a compact head that surrounds each tooth with high speed oscillating and rotating motion, and it also has a two minute timer.
What do I think?
This is a very good basic electric toothbrush, if you are restricted on budget but really need an electric toothbrush, this is probably the most decent toothbrush but still being economic at the same time. I managed to buy this when it was on promotion at £14.99, but it is usually about £24.99. It includes everything that you need to start brushing, the rechargeable handle and base, and changeable toothbrush head. Though, you may need to buy an extra 2-hole adaptor socket so that you can plug it into the normal socket when you start charging it up.
When it says it has extra soft bristles for this particular brush, it really does mean it. Personally, I find the bristles too soft to actually do the proper clean but it is still very good when you have sensitive gums and teeth.
The oscillating part is okay, it's good enough when you start off, but I think after a while, you might find that you would want something that spins much quicker just to get more extra shine and polish for your teeth. The rechargeable handle s great, it's a bit bulky but still slim enough for easy handling. The two minute timer is also very handy, it kind of vibrates to let you know when the two minutes are up.
I generally find the electric toothbrush better for getting some extra shine on the teeth, but I also find that it can be quite harsh for those who already have receding gums, as the oscillating motions can actually brush away the gums even more.
Apart from this, it's a great basic electric toothbrush for those on a budget.
Thanks for reading.
Summary: A decent brush at a budget price.
