Disadvantages: Tad noisey!

Hello! and welcome to this review.

Now what can I write about a toothbrush? Im sure I will find something:) So hear we go.

Well I used to own a Philips Sonicare brush that I paid a whopping £119 for!! But I had a bit of an accident. Down the loo went my lovely Philips, mainly because of my damn clumsy hands! Oh well. It was not the end of the world, just had to search for a new one. The bank funds were quite low two weeks ago when this happened, so I thought I better get a cheap brush. Off I went to savers!

Savers
******
Savers is a nice shop located in the centre of Swansea Town, it has a big blue sign on the front saying 'Savers', of course! Inside you are welcomed with hundreds or even thousands of health and beauty products. All of their products seem to be great value for money and are all quality brands.

In savers I saw this lovely looking brush sitting on the shelf in a fancy stand. I saw it was electric, came with two Duracell batteries, now this could be the brush for me?? Well I looked at the price tag, £3.99?? Im having it!

I picked it up and got it home, Paying first of couse:) But beware! Savers do not accept cards for payments of under £5 so that was where the problem began and I had to borrow 1p from a nice lady at the till. Trust me to leave my wallet at home!

Colgate
*******
Colgate - Palmolive was created just over two hundred years ago as a candle and soap company, they are now serving hundreds of millions of consumers around the world. They now specialise in oral health and care.

Well the war with the packaging begins!!
*********************************

It was very hard to open the packaging, VERY HARD in fact. It was one of those annoying all plastic packagings that I always end up cutting myself on. They are so sharp! Is it just me that finds this? It was heat sealed all around the edges and had a cardboard piece inside showing the brushes features. But these plastic packagings are very hygienic so I guess they are needed.

When I finally got inside the packaging I put the batteries in and admired my new brush. It looked a bit cheap compared to the philips but HEY, It was cheap! I realised just how good this toothbrush was when I pulled the head, (It popped off) wow changeable heads also? This was a bargain. I had never heard of a cheap tooth brush that has changing heads. Very handy!

I have since checked the price of new brush heads, for a pack of two they are £3.98, but I believe they only need changing every three months so it's not a bad price.

I turned the brush on...... Buzzzzzz, I couldn't help but notice how hard the button was to push. Not very ergonomic at all but for the price I cannot complain.

Now this brush is pretty powerful. Almost as powerful as the philips so hopefully it is doing the same sort of thing. Although this could never beat the Philips as it is not a sonic brush. The brush on the head is quite stiff so you must be careful not to hurt yourself! If used with care then it will be fine. This toothbrush is not recommended for under 3 year olds.

I have found the brush to be quite noisey, maybe its just mine. It's a cheap sounding noise, that noise of a motor but with a rattle combined. Not too nice, but it does the job well so I can't complain. If someone was sleeping this brush is definately capable of waking them, so don't use in en-suits.

This brush takes two AA batteries, they must be long lasting as I have had this brush for a month used 3 times a day and well.... Its still going strong!
For the price I would highly recommend this brush. It has a few bits to niggle about but for the price 5* From me!

I hope this review has been of help.
Thank You, Nick
