Advantages: Cheap and easy to use, plus they look great

Disadvantages: Not as powerful as electric toothbrushes

I purchased one of these toothbrushes from Asda whilst they were on offer. There were plenty of colours to choose from but I chose the hot pink colour as it looked quite funky and vibrant. It cost £3.49.

The toothbrush needs two AA batteries to work. I started off with Tesco Value but they lasted me for just four days so I then bought two Energizer batteries and these lasted much longer.

The toothbrush is good quality. It's really sturdy and durable and the handle is comfortable to hold. The brush head is larger than the brush heads that you would find on electric toothbrushes but this means that the brush head is easier to use. The brush manages to get into all of those hard to reach places and after using this toothbrush my mouth does feel a whole lot cleaner and fresher.

The only downside is the fact that the toothbrush isn't as powerful as electric toothbrushes. I now have an Oral B electric toothbrush that is much more powerful than this battery powered one. However these toothbrushes are cheap and easy to use. They look great and as long as you use good quality batteries you should see that they are quite long lasting. They're also great for travel.

Would I recommend these? I would but they're not as good as "proper" powered toothbrushes.
