Advantages: Cleans teeth superbly

Disadvantages: I do not really see this "Flossing action", wear out very fast, expensive

I love Oral-B toothbrushes and have used them for many years. I love how with the same brush you have a wide range of different heads to suit your needs. The only two in the shop I was buying head from which seemed relevant to me at the time was the standard head and the flossing head (This one). Considering they were both the same or a very similar price, I thought that the added feature of a flossing action in the brush was good value for money.

Although I have been using these heads for over 3 years now, I still do not notice much of a flossing action at all, the cleaning feels no different whatsoever to the regular heads which I used to use before.

The head itself cleans teeth superbly, much better than a manual brush - you can really notice the difference if you use a manual brush one day as I had to when I went hiking/camping last year. Once you get used to using these heads, any cleaning done with other brushes will make your mouth feel dirty (In my experience) - Oral-B heads in general seem to be far superior than the competitors.

An issue I do have with these heads is the life-span of them, I aim to replace my head every 6 months, however by this time I am pretty much brushing with the plastic as the bristles will be so badly worn down by then. Oral-B put a colour indicator as to when the brush needs to be replaced, I replaced my head 3 weeks ago and it is already nearing the Oral-B limit. I would be perfectly fine with replacing them this often if they weren't so damn expensive!

Summary: If you can afford these get them. If not then if will be amazing for the first couple of months only
