      Oral B Disney Cars toothbrush

I think anything that helps a little person to brush their teeth for longer is a godsend so thats why I've been so pleased with this electric toothbrush. My little girl is not the best at brushing her teeth but then what little kid is? She will ask to brush her teeth but then she will literally brush for about 30 seconds and then she is done and will not let me brush her teeth afterwards which is very annoying.

To combat this I decided to buy her a "fun" toothbrush, one that she would enjoy using and help her to brush her teeth a little bit longer. We decided to get her an electric toothbrush as they have done really well for my teeth and I thought they would give her a better brush than she can give herself. This toothbrush is recommended for children three years plus but my little girl is over two and a half and I think this is fine for her to use. She didn't really like using it at first as I think the sensation is a bit funny when you first try it but once she got used to it it has been fine.

In terms of how this brush looks it is quite inviting and if your little ones like the Disney movie Cars like mine do then they will like it even better. The toothbrush is red and blue with a picture from the Cars cartoon on the top of the toothbrush. We pretend when we turn it on that it is the engine revving up so its quite exciting and she enjoys turning it on and using it. She is very into doing things like a big girl at the moment too so I think because she has an electric toothbrush just like mummy and daddy this helps with her wanting to brush too.

The toothbrush is pretty much just like an adult toothbrush. What I really like about it and my adult one has this function too is that it has something called an EZ Timer which helps encourage kids to brush for 1 minute on the top row and 1 minute on the bottom, so they brush for the dentist recommended 2 minutes. The toothbrush will buzz when she has had the brush on her top teeth for one minute so I tell her to always wait for the buzz until she can switch to the bottom set of teeth. She doesn't always achieve the one minute but sometimes she does and at the moment that is good enough for me.

The brush head is quite small which is good as it fits really nicely in her small mouth and also on her little teeth too. Anything bigger and I think it would be quite a distraction and not do any good. The bristles are quite soft on their delicate teeth and gums so she never suffers any sore gums which is nice.

In order to charge this up there is a charging stand that comes with the toothbrush when you buy it and if you just leave it on this cradle plugged into the wall it will provide you with 12 hours charge time. We leave it stored in the cradle so it never loses its charge which is nice. The toothbrush cost me less than £20 in Boots which was a good price as you can buy new heads for it when you need to and don't need to buy the whole toothbrush again and it has helped my little girl to enjoy brushing her teeth so I give it 4 stars.

      a great brush

      ==Oral B Disney Pixar Car Electric Toothbrush==

When Jack first started getting his teeth through I encouraged brushing from day one as you are recommended to do and it seemed he loved to have a toothbrush in his mouth, partly I expect to relieve the pressure of teething but he generally just seemed to enjoy have my brush his solitary tooth. As time has gone on it seems that brushing Jacks teeth is a real uphill struggle and a battle of wills every morning and night.

To encourage him to be more independent or even just not to kick up a fuss every time I tell him his teeth have got to be done, we have tried a ton of different things from getting him fruity toothpaste as he said he didn't like the minty stuff to rewarding him with reward stars on his chart when teeth have been brushed to of course buying him all sorts of different types of toothbrushes. So far with the electric or battery powered toothbrushes we don't seem to have had much luck as they generally don't seem to last too long or Jack doesn't seem to get on with them.

This Oral B Disney Pixar Cars Electric Toothbrush is the latest addition to our bathroom and so far it has been so good. Considering both myself and Jack's Daddy have electric toothbrushes it now makes Jack feel as though he is just like us and he seems more inclined to try and not moan so much when its toothbrush time.

The brush cost me a smidgen under £20 and I bought it for Jacks birthday from Amazon as this seemed to be the cheapest place in which to get it. The price can go up anywhere to £35 so it is worth shopping around for. I did also get some spare brush heads to save time when we did need them and these were around £6.50 p for a pack of two which is about right and not far off what I can get our electric toothbrush heads for.

The Cars toothbrush is a rechargeable one which has a fairly good battery life once fully charged up and will last a good few days with the brush being used twice a day. The charger comes with the toothbrush and is simple to use. The age range of this toothbrush is for children aged 5 and upwards which was perfect for Jack as it was his 5th birthday.

The good thing about using this toothbrush is that there is a timer on the brush and the brush will buzz at one minute to indicate that you can move from the bottom teeth to the top teeth and then after 2 minutes the timer will go off again with a buzz to show that you can now finish brushing your teeth. This seems to give Jack a lot more perspective in the fact that 2 minutes isn't actually such a long time to be brushing his teeth for.

The bristles on the brush head are not too soft or not too hard either and the size of the head allows for the correct pea sized amount of toothpaste to be applied and used. The handle of the toothbrush make it easy for Jack to hold onto even if he has wet hands as there is a soft rubbery type of grip which gives comfort and grip to his little hands.

All in all I can find nothing at all negative to say about this brush. It was a reasonable price considering how many regular toothbrushes we were going through before and the fact that Jack will actually brush his teeth now and seem to actually enjoy the brushing process. The timer makes for an excellent aspect of teeth brushing which has encouraged him to brush for longer and thus ensuring cleaner and brighter teeth (and fresher breath!).

I think this toothbrush would really be ideal for parents who are sick and tied of having to moan and groan about the whole teeth brushing process twice a day and I would highly recommend it to rid these arguments and make for a much easier life! I think nothing but a top score of 5 out of 5 star rating and a VERY high recommendation is in order for this fantastic little brush.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

A good toothbrush which provides effecyive cleaning

My little five year old is mad (actually bordering on obsessed) with Disney Cars.

He has almost everything there is to do with them and so it seemed only right that when we decided to buy him an electric toothbrush, it should have Cars somewhere on it.

We bought this brush when it was on offer in Tesco's for £19.99 (which is the cheapest we have ever seen it).

The brush itself is good quaility and comes apart really easily for cleaning.

It is quite noisy which took our little boy a while to get used to but now he is not bhothered at all by it and actually looks forward to brushing his teeth (something which he previously saw a chore!).

It cleans the teeth really well but the only downside in my opinion is the timer which it has built in. After a set time the brush starts vibrating which is supposed to signify that you have brushed for the recommended amount and can now stop. I find that the timer seems to be set very quickly and make sure that our little boy brushes until the timer has sounded three times (maybe it's just him but he does get distracted when brushing). I also have not seen any extra heads for sale with the cars branding.

However on a positive note the brush charge seems to last a good time and only really needs charging about once a week (the charger comes with the brush).

In my opinion this is a good brush and anything that encourages little ones to clean their teeth has to be good!
