Philips Sonicare for kids are an excellent toothbrush for kids. This toothbrush has a red or blue non slip rubbery body (depending on which generation you are buying) with a front panel that can be changed out for one of several colourful options that come in the pack. The fronts are great if you own more than one toothbrush as you can make the brushes easily identifiable. The fronts simply stick on and can be changed easily.

Each toothbrush comes with its own charger. The brushes charge quickly except for one we had that developed a problem and had to be replaced. In general they've been very easy to use.

A major feature that makes these worth buying is the 4 x 30 second timer that helps you child to learn how to brush their teeth properly. At the end of each 30 seconds there is an audible alarm to signal to your child to move onto the next area of their mouth. It doesn't take long to teach your kid to brush their mouth in quarters.

This tooth brush comes with the option for one one two heads. A small head ideal for 4-6 year old and a bigger one for 7+. The heads are £15 for a pack of two which is definitely on the expensive side. The heads are also hard to find and I can only ever buy them from Amazon.

We've found these brushes have a lifespan of about 3 years before they stop charging properly and have just had to replace one. Still it's pretty good for a product that gets used so regularly.

These brushes cost around £50 but I've noticed the price as high as £70 and as low as £30.
