Having invested in a Phillips sonicare brush I spent the early days working my way through the standard brush heads. When I went to replace at my local boots I spotted the diamond clean and decided to give them a go. Thry were a little more expensive than the standard heads but it is only a matter of a couple of pounds. The shape of the head is as you would expect a more diamond shape. There is a max of green, white and blue bristles. The blue bristles begin to fade with use and when they become almost white it is time to replace the head - a fabulous idea, that keeps you on track for a decent clean day in say out. Using the heads did have a pretty much immediate visible difference to the surface cleanliness and ultimately white shade of my teeth. They clean fabulously at the gum line and is hardly abrasive so you know your teeth are protected. I have since had an adult orthodontic brace fitted to my teeth and the diamond heads have stepped up to their game. I couldn't be without them and feedback is always positive regarding my oral hygiene and cleanliness of my teeth. The brushes tend to last me around about 2-3 month before they need replacing and are relatively cost effective in this respect. I would not return to the standard heads and would always recommend diamond clean heads for a superior clean and a healthy smile!
