Advantages: Deep, fresh clean.
Disadvantages: Pricey
I was bought this toothbrush for my birthday about six weeks ago. I was immediately attracted to the clean and white mode. There are three modes on it. Clean, sensitive, clean and white.
The clean mode is your standard mode for teeth cleaning. This gives a two minute thorough clean. If you run your tongue over your teeth afterwards, the surface feels really smooth. It is not a sensation you can achieve with a normal toothbrush.
The sensitive mode achieves a similar effect but it is not as harsh. This mode is aimed at people with sensitive gums and teeth. It also says to use this mode after you have had any form of whitening treatment.
Then there is the clean and white mode. this is the function I use as I am a smoker and caffeine drinker. It claims to make your teeth whiter by two shades within two weeks of use. I am not convinced by this. But I think I would be better off seeing a hygienist first and then using the toothbrush to maintain the cleanliness and stains.
The first time I used it, it left my mouth with a strong tingling sensation. It was not uncomfortable. All I can say is my teeth felt extremely clean. The last time they felt that good was when I was at the dentist.
The toothbrush came with a solid, hard wearing plastic travel case.
The charger has a two pin plug, so I did have to purchase a travel adapter.
The battery life starts to wear after about a week, which I think is not too bad.
The sonic technology used in the toothbrush is patented.
Ok the price hmmm cost £96 from Boots. Probably could have been got cheaper elsewhere.
Is it worth it? A resounding yes!!!
Summary: A great electric toothbrush.
