I have had my Proformula electric toothbrush for around six months now and when I bought it I bought a pack of these Proformula replacement brush heads. I paid just £2.99 for the pack of two brush heads, which is the full retail price and in my opinion a complete bargain when you consider how expensive some brands of replacement brush heads are.

The brush heads were also available in packs of four in-store at the time that I purchased them (6 months ago), however looking online I can see that the only pack size available is the packs of two. I bought these brush heads from the same place that I bought my electric toothbrush from - Tesco and as far as I know, this is the only place that stocks/sells this brand of toothbrush heads. The brush heads came securely packaged.

The packaging is simply a piece of cardboard with plastic over the top. The plastic is moulded over the shape of the toothbrush heads to keep them in place. I did find the packaging quite awkward to open, and I needed to use scissors in the end. The brush heads themselves are made from plastic. They're fairly long which I like and to attach them to the Proformula electric toothbrush base you simply need to push them into the base and twist them to the left. They're easy to remove as well and to remove them you twist the brush head to the right then pull it.

The brush heads stay attached to the electric toothbrush base securely, when I'm using the toothbrush I do find that it vibrates quite hard and I've had no problems with the brush heads coming loose or anything like that, even though they're very light and if I'm honest they do feel fairly flimsy but they've proven to be durable. The bristle area on the brush heads is round with a good surface area. The brush heads are firm and quite harsh feeling rather than having a soft sort of ousting to them, but this has never hurt my mouth or gums.

I have found the brush to be very thorough and my teeth always feel very clean after I've used it. The brush bristles have proven to be durable - none have shedded despite regular use, and I didn't have to replace the first brush head for quite a long time, it lasted for around 4 months before I needed to replace it.

It had lost its shape a little and become a bit misshapen looking and it wasn't leaving my teeth feeling white as clean so I knew it was time to replace it. The brush head I have in the toothbrush at the moment has been on it for around eight weeks, it still feels good whaling and isn't looking or feeling worn and I use it twice a day. The brush heads are easy to clean and I just rinse mine under the tap and dry it once I've finished brushing my teeth.

Overall, these brush heads are cheap and durable. I recommend them highly.
