I decided to invest in the sonicare electric toothbrush & am so glad I did! easy to use, manage & maintain it def. makes my teeth feel clean - like when u leave the hygienist. I have quite sensitive gums but there is no discomfort or harshness with this brush I can say quite honestly. there are more expensive ones on the market... Sonicare Elite 7500 Power Toothbrush ... to clean. The toothbrush is quite loud when it is turned on. It did hurt a little at first, probably because I was used to a manual brush, but after a couple of days it didn t hurt at all. The brush heads feel OK in your mouth though - I opted for the more expensive model with the slimline brush heads - some of the older models have much fatter brush heads. One really useful feature of the Sonicare toothbrush is that it has a timer. It times 30 seconds each for the inside of your top teeth, the outside of your top teeth, the inside of your bottom teeth and the outside of the bottom teeth. SoniCare Advanced Model ... first bought a Sonicare when they were introduced for the first time on QVC. I paid over £100 for it, a lot of money. It is quite a unique brushing experience and takes some getting used to. When you first use it it is programmed to start you off gently gradually building up to full strength. It works by the sonic waves loosening the plaque which forms on the teeth. It must work as since using one I have never had to have a scale & polish at the dentist. Prior to this I had one every 6 months. The first one lasted about 4 years so when it gave up the ghost I bought another. The price had come down by then and I paid about £80.
