The new Memory Card (8Mb) for the Playstation 2(PS2) it an essential accessory for the PS2 because the old Memory Cards are not never the amount of memory you need to store. The old Memory Cards were meant to be 1Mb but when I put one with nothing on it in my PS2 to see what the memory capacity it has, it said 128kb which it not near 1mb. Then I put my new 8mb one in and it said 7,998mb, which it is about 8mb. So the old memory cards are not 1mb why is this I don’t know.

The new Memory Cards are brilliant though they have enough space to save practically every game I have for my old Playstation, which is about 60 games that all save. Also the new look of the Memory Card (8mb) is brilliant with it black look that goes great with the console it’s self.

Overall I think the new Memory Card it a cracking peace of equipment, but it is a dear for a memory card even if it is 8mb’s. The only thing about the memory card is you really need it to keep all those important saves and when Gran Turismo 3 come out if you have a twin brother like me you will have to buy another one for Memory Card battles against each other. IU my opinion you should buy a Memory Card (8mb) first so you don’t need to keep changing the option on your games.
