The Sony 8mb memory card.

If you have a PS2 you NEED TO HAVE ONE its that simple. NO marketing gimmicks but if you've spent £300 to get the console then I'm sorry you will ALSO have to spend £28 on a memory card.

Its suppose to be 250x faster then the normal psx ones. And its very fast th ough don't know about 250x but its very fast in saving and loading.

You may think £28 is quite a bit of money but then you paid £20 for "1mb" on the psx. So now it seems a bit less:) the 8mb is a good amount of storage. You can hold a lot of game data in there.

YOU NEED this to simple save all YOUR HARD earnt game data. In TTT all your new characters and times, in GT3 all the lovely cars and in every single other game out there. They will almost more then likely require a memory card. And why not buy an official Sony one?

It looks good. It has a nice but simple design (like you care!!!). It doesn't have its own memory card box like the old psx ones did. But another very neat feature of the game cases is that they all have a memory card place to store your memory card. A novel and good idea. Like when I was going around my friends house I just popped it in there. It keeps it safe and thats all you need to know.

In the end YOU REALLY have no choice. You got to buy a memory card for your ps2!
