So, with the PS2's launch I managed to buy a memory card, as you do - but then because my PS2 was faulty I never really got to use the memory card that much, but hey, you do need it - it's an essential peripheral/accessory and despite it being around £28 it does offer very good value indeed.

It's the most boring memory card you'll ever use, but then the only interesting one is the VMU on the Sega Dreamcast, but they both have their plus points and the PS2's official memory card has 8 times the space of the DC one, which means it's well worth your money.

You'll probably never need to buy another, as the space on this should cover the amount of save games you'll ever need. So it is very good value for money. It's tiny, so don't lose it - comes in horrible yellow packaging which is tricky to tear off, so be careful.

Size doesn't matter - it slots straight into the space provided above the controller slot, and will most probably live there all it's life! You can see the files when you start up the PS2 - selecting the Memory card option.

If you can find it at less than £27 then you should get one if you don't have one already. So it's boring, yep, really unexciting - far less fun than the LCD VMU Dreamcast card, but it's a lot more useful and so I have to give 5 stars.

I don't own it now, but when I did, it was nice, didn't not work, that was the PS2.
