The new Dual Shock Pad 2 is a great accessory for the Playstation 2 (PS2) with it’s new feature and it’s new black look. The Pad now has analogue on all of its buttons. For example when playing a game like Gran Turismo when you don not want to use the analogue sticks, but just the D-pad and the buttons. When you are accelerating with the X button the more you press it the more rev’s you give the car which is a great feature but some people don’t like to use the analogue.

The only difference in the pad look is it colour and a little logo “Dual Shock 2”. The price of the pad is good at a brilliant £19.99, the same as the Dual Shock 1 pads.

In my opinion I think it is worth buying the new pad unless you are short for cash the old Dual Shock pads do perfectly. The only thing is the analogue buttons but I haven’t noticed any difference because I only have one Dual Shock 2 pad and my brother wanted it. The only thing is you might have to get some new pads if you want to use a Multitap 2 on the PS2.
