The ability to extend the cables used to connect your controlers to your playstation is more useful than you`d imagine. I have my playstation setup on a really nice big TV, and you get the best effect from this by sitting quite far away. The problem with the length of the normal cables on the controlers is that they just don`t stretch far enough. These extensions just plug into your playstation, and you then plug your controlers into the other end and that is it. They just sit there and work for-ever, which is quite unusual for anything made these days.
