It all started with those Bemani dance games didn?t it? You know the way you had to bounce up and down embarrassingly in front of your TV. Well with this game, not only do you get to embarrass yourself in front of your friends, but you get to watch yourself do it as well. At least this game hasn?t made it into any arcades yet!! This isn?t really a game. Instead it is actually 12 mini games in one. In each you must try and get the highest score for the prize of being immortalised in a photo for all the future losers to see. The only time I found this annoying is when my dad started playing and got the high score on ... Read the complete review

EyeToy was launched late in 2003 as the new gadget for the PS2. Basically, the EyeToy is a small camera type object that you sit on top of your TV... it can see you... it watches you, and reacts to your movements... it's through this gadget that you control the EyeToy games. Forget your joypad, with EyeToy you stand in front of the TV and wave your arms about (your legs, head and the rest of your body too if you like!) to control and play the game! EyeToy: Play was the first games disc released for EyeToy and tends to be packaged along with the EyeToy itself, although it can be bought seperately. It contains 12 "crazy games all controlled by your ... Read the complete review

The EyeToy is a new(ish) camera attachment that Sony brought out for the playstation 2. When I got my playstation the EyeToy came with it complete with its own software. However me being as cynical as I am never bothered to look at what it was. Im not sure why because I didnt even know what it was but for some reason it didnt appeal to me and sat in the box for a year or so gathering dust. Then one day I was bored and decided I would have a look at what this eyetoy thing was. To be honest with you I was amazed. I didnt even know this sort of thing was possible. Basically the idea of the EyeToy is that you can control a variety of games and activities with your ... Read the complete review

This is based on the Eye Toy ?Play? for the Playstation 2, there is another version of the eye toy available called ?groove? I have not played that yet, but believe you can buy the disc without having to buy another eye toy. Way back in the good old days of the early consoles (Nintendo Sega etc) the times when a console meant fun for all the family. I remember those times with fond memories, the graphics where not great and the game play was simple. Even so the whole family was able to enjoy themselves. But times moved on graphics improved game play became ever more complex and the consoles moved from the family ... Read the complete review

Gaming can be unhealthy. There's DVT, wrist strain, but most of all sitting down for long periods moving only your thumbs does nothing to keep you fit. This is one reason I was keen to get an Eye Toy when it came out. It is a small camera that plugs into the USB port of a Playstation 2. You put it on top of the TV and it films you into the games. The camera senses motion, so to navigate around the games you wave your fingers over the various buttons. There is no need for an ordinary controller at all. Although it's a completely new way of playing games, in practice it's quite simple to do. Eye Toy : Play comes with 12 games, a playroom, and ... Read the complete review
