“ Hama Sensor Bar for Nintendo Wii - Game controller wireless sensor bar - black „
The sensor bar is essential for anybody to play games on the wii. They are needed so that your wii remotes can interact with your wii controller. The only problem however is that they are very flimsy like the ones that come in the box with the nintendo wii itself.
When you are playing against someone or you are playing a very active wii game it is sometimes very easy for this item to get damaged which can completely spoil the fun, particularly if company are around.
I understand that they have to be small because some people like myself have flat screens and they need to be able to fit on top but they are made of very flimsy, very cheap plastic and you have to be extremely careful that it doesnt drop as it is very easy to shatter.
The wire that connects the sensor bar is even more flimsy. This item definately needs to be made more durable.
I bought this Sensor bar for my wii after the Nintendo exclusive product chipped and refused to work, and this unexclusive version of the Nintendo Wii Sensor bar works a treat.
For those of you that dont know about the Nintendo Wii, the concept that Nintendo had managed to come up with was a point and play mechanism. Working with the Nintendo Wii remote to Enable the player to be in control of the display on screen.
At first I thought that the Sensor bar would not work as previously when purchasing a £25 unofficial playstation 3 controller and finding out the motion axis did not work was, well a waste of cash.
This Model however to me is like an exact remake for £5 less than the original.
How does it work?**
Just like the Original it has a cable which fits into the back of the nintendo wii which processes the cable and then emits a infrared signal to the Nintendo Wii controller. The User then makes an action, points whatever, and then the system receives the infrared and circulates it.
The Wireless sensor does come with 50% more dark black packaging than it should have but the product is well protected from damages.
Also the sensor bar balances on a 3cm podium to make it easier to point and play, unlike the Nintendo Original which dosen't.
But the bar can be taken off the podium with ease.
For anybody with a broken original sensor bar, Buy this it will definitely not disappoint you, I've had it for 5 months so far and not once has it broken down.
