The beauty of Nintendo Wii is that you get to play realistic games by wireless remote controls so it feels like you are actually in the moment, playing the game yourself. Some of my favourite games such as Wii tennis and Wii bowling are made even more exciting with this Wii sports pack.
The sports pack consists of 6 additions to the Wii remote that allow you to play each game a bit more authentically. In the pack there is a tennis racket, a baseball bat, golf club, and steering wheel. Now, for all you budding A-Rod's, Tiger Woods or Lewis Hamiltons out there this is definitely the pack for you to enhance the game. All these items are made of a lightweight white plastic so they do not add to much weight to the Wii remote meaning you will not find these too heavy or difficult to play with. Each items slots in tot he end of your wireless Wii remote so you benefit from not having any wires getting in your way when you are trying to play. Once the item is slotted into the remote it is a tight secure fit so you do not have to worry that it will fall out when you are playing.
The golf club is not amazingly long and no where near long enough to be classified as a proper club although it does have three adjustable levels. Of course, it's nothing like a real golf club but it does add a bit of authenticity to your golf game. With this on the end of your remote you can swing away and pretend like you are actually teeing up for the winning shot in the Masters.
The tennis racket has a fairly small head and again is not as big as a real tennis racket but again makes you think like you are swinging areal racket, just beware of your lampshades when you are hitting that overhead smash.
I don't play with the steering wheel much as I do not like driving games such as the MArio driving game but my nephews use this one a lit and really love how it feels and say it is really quite responsive to your turn.
The baseball bat is great and probably my favourite addition. It looks like a proper bat, round and gets bigger nearer the end although its obviously smaller than a regular bat. It's hard to use it when playing the game though as I always seem to strike out and never actually manage to hit the baseball very much but I enjoy trying.
I like these items because when I play sports games on the Wii I like to do the realistic motion and actually swing my bat/racket etc and not just flick my wrist like you can do in order to take your shot as well.
The sports pack is in the £10 region and in my opinion is a really good edition to your Wii games.
