Advantages: Making it your own

Disadvantages: My on/off button hole was a little too small, needed sanding to fit snug.

I purchased this when I first got the xBox in order to blend in with the rest of my Home Cinema set up,

Having a silver Television, silver sub, silver DVD player and silver freeview box (all situated within a silver stand), it only seemed logical to get a silver faceplate for the console.

It's a great little add-on to make your console a little more personal, a real pity though that the entire case didn't have a faceplate (without needing to break the warranty seal).

It can be used to make your xbox blend in or stand out, as there are a range of different colours available throughout the internet, some people design their own and sell them on youtube.

I found that the on/off button on mine lost sensitivity a little with this faceplate though, the hole was just a fraction too small so this needed sanding down to prevent having to really stick the finger in to turn it off!

Summary: A great add-on for next to nothing, revamps the look of your xbox!
