The Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable is a very useful device to have as it helps you connect your xbox 360 console to your PC Monitor simple by plugging one end into the Xbox 360 and the other end into your Monitor.

Their remains a question however as to whether or not you buy the proper Microsoft cable or an unbranded alternative, and i think the anwser is the latter. Simply because it does the exact same thing, but generally for a cheaper price. I personally have had both, and i see no difference, apart from of course the price. So obviously i know which i prefer.

Sound is however an issue with these devices, if your monitor is without inbuilt speakers you will be forced to buy a 3.5mm Audio Jack Coupler Adaptor Female Stereo MP3 UK aswell as a WE11130 Adaptor 3.5mm stereo plug to 2 x RCA sockets, the adapter connects with the coupler, the two plugs on the VGA cable being discussed are plugged into the 2 RCA sockets, and then your speaker device plugs into the other side of the coupler. So it is by no means a straight forward process. Though with the correct equipment it is relatively painless. You can pick these items up for under 3 pounds aswell, which isnt bad at all.

However the cable itself will almost certainly provide a straight connection from your console to your monitor, as all monitors these days have VGA, and that's really all you need. However remember in built speakers are nice.
