      Get your steps in

This Activity Meter is first off no use if purchased on its own. To be able to use it you will need to have the Walk With Me game and a Nintendo ds or dsi to play the game on.

I purchased my Activity Meter because I lost one of mine which came with my Walk With Me game, I was so into the game I was mortified when I lost it so I quickly set about finding a replacement. I got mine from a games store for £10 which looking online was a bit of a bargain as they are around £20 online nearly the price of a new game with 2 meters included.

The purpose of the activity meter is to measure your daily activity. It is similar to a pedometer except this one is much smaller than your regular pedometer. The meter is approx 2inch by 2inch and is quite compact. It comes with a flat back which can be replaced with a back with a clip on it so you can wear it on your trousers.

Each meter is powered by a 1.5V cell battery which are the circle ones and I find that they need replacing around the 6 month mark which is quite good.

Once the battery is in and the back is on you have to hook your meter up to your ds now for me I was glad to find that having already hooked my up my old meter my data was easily transferred to my new meter. Once the dat is transferred you can set your step target for the day and away you go. There is a tiny light on the front of your meter which will flash red until your step target is reached when it will hen turn green. The down side here is you don't actually know how many steps you have done so far unless you hook it up to your ds.

These meter are excellent replacements or great if you want more than 2 people to play the Walk With Me game at anyone time.

      5 stars from me.
