The red one is on when it is charging and when the battery is low, and the green one is on when the power is on but with sufficient power to last. To the left of this below the touch screen still is the microphone hole, which is very sensitive but tolerant to any dust etc, and is made use of in games such as Nintendogs, where you speak to your dog and tell it tricks to do etc.

Welcome to my rather lengthy review of the Nintendo DS - Electric Blue colour handheld console. I have had my Nintendo DS since it was released on June 30th 2005. It was bundled with the game Super Mario 64, which was basically a copy of the original Nintendo 64 version - a great game and a lasting classic. Now, the Nintendo DS Electric Blue version is available to buy bundled with Animal Crossing: Wild World, which is a superb game that I currently own too. I had the DS shipped over from America, as it was exclusively released there and I loved the colour. I suppose some people will unfairly compare the Wii and the 360/PS3 graphics and be disappointed? Your remote wont slip out of hand have to keep taking it off if you use a steering wheel. Makes Animal Crossing: City Folk infintely more fun on WFC, Crisp and clear audio, Looks attractive. Those without Animal Crossing: City Folk should not buy until more games are released.
