The first unofficial psone screen has gone into the shops. This screen is 4 inches with small speakers. This screen screws on to the back of your psone. The colour on it is surprisingly sharp. It will come with an in-car power adaptor that will generate enough power to last your journey. The screen will flip down like a laptop but a the start only 5000 will be made at the factory. The only down side to the screen is the size of the speakers and the quality of the sound that comes out, but there is a headphone socket of the screen. Under £100 for a 4.5 inch full colour LCD screen with sound for the PS1, surely not. I’d heard that Sony were planning to bring out an LCD screen which would integrate with the PS1 to make it portable but was very surprised to see one already available on the shelf of my local Dixons. On closer inspection I noticed it was not actually a Sony made one but made by a company called Innovation.
