Advantages: Easy to apply, protects against damage to the PSP screen.
Disadvantages: Slightly more glare.
The PSP screen protector is useful as it stops you putting nasty scratches on to your PSP screen!
The PSP screen protector kit comes in three parts, first you have the clear screen protector, you also receive a grey microfiber cleaning cloth and an applicator card.
Getting it on to your PSP is relatively easy, first of all you clean the PSP screen with the microfiber cloth making sure you get all the dust and dirt off or it will be sandwiched between the PSP screen and screen protector potentially damaging your screen and obscuring your view. Next peel off one layer of the PSP screen protectors protective plastic and line it up with the PSP screen, then slowly apply it using the applicator card to push out any air bubbles you may get and when you are happy you can peel off the other of plastic layer from the screen protector and have a really nicely screen protected PSP!
It worked as advertised and my PSP is fully protected and the protector is free from any nasty air bubbles which are the biggest downside to using a protector.
When the protector is on the PSP you will notice it's there as you can see there is a little raised edge around the PSP screen but the protector seems to stay on very firmly, I have noticed that you get a little more screen reflection that without a protector but it is worth the extra glare for the peace of mind. It is also really easy to wipe clean, just use the microfiber cloth give it a quick wipe and it's good as new!
If you own a PSP console I would highly recommend you invest in some kind of screen protector, mine was manufactured by Logic3 and was around £10 to buy though it came in a pack with some other accessories.
Summary: Perfect for keeping your PSP in good order.
